Congressman Nick Langworthy is hosting a ceremony to honor Cattaraugus and Allegany area veterans on Wednesday August 14th.

Come on out tomorrow afternoon 7/17 from 3-5pm to have a Burger or hot dog meal at the Eden Heights of Olean. Dwyer will pick up the tab for 40 people. Proceeds will go to Catholic Charities, they help with all sorts of needs in the Olean area.

Come by the Eldred World War II Museum for the Museum Muster today from 11:30 to 2:30 pm. Free fresh grilled Hamburger/Hot Dog Lunch for Veterans (asking for a $5 donation for non vets!

Stop by the tables from the Daughters of the American Revolution, Olean NY Army National Guard Recruiting Station, Student Veterans of St. Bonaventure University, the Erie VA Medical Center, and Cattaraugus County Dwyer Veteran Program!!

Today is our Military Appreciation Day at Bradner Stadium at 7 pm as the Horseheads Hitmen come to town!

All proceeds from tonight’s gate and 50/50 will be donated to the Southern Tier Wounded Warrior Benefit Concert.

All active and retired military personnel and their families will get in for free! All active and retired military personnel can also claim a $10 food / drink voucher.

Our Volunteers will be putting lunch together that will be FREE for all Veterans who visit the museum! Lunches for non-veterans will be available for $5.00. ALL proceeds will be donated back to the Eldred WWII Museum!!

DWYER VETERAN BREAKFAST DATE CHANGE!!

In July we're moving our monthly breakfast date to Wednesday, July 3rd. If you've been to our breakfast in the last few months, then you've seen we're well over 100 people each month. To bring our group into Sprague's Maple Farms on a holiday would be inviting chaos. So, join us on Wednesday the 3rd for our monthly breakfast, pick up a calendar and enjoy some time with friends and family before the holiday weekend kicks off!

Dwyer Veteran Guitar Lesson Interest Notification!!!

The Dwyer Program here in Cattaraugus County is excited to offer FREE Guitar lessons for Veterans (ONLY) via our partner, USMC Veteran, and local musician Scott Warner!!

The link being provided is an interest link, the expectation is that you'd be able to show up once a week for a group lesson with up to 4 other veterans for about 4-6 weeks, the time and location would be determined by schedule.

This service is offered to Veterans ONLY. We currently have 2 Spots remaining and we're making calls out to the Veterans that have signed up next week, so you have until Friday to decide!

Saturday, June 8th - LEEK OPEN HOUSE AND FREE KIDS FISHING DERBY!!

Hosted by our friends at the LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve, which is a 400 Acre Hunting and Fishing Preserve in Oswayo, PA that many of our Dwyer Volunteers have come out for fish assessments, work weekends, and hunts!

Join us and a number of local Veteran services down in Oswayo that day. There'll be a ton of FAMILY based activities including a free fishing derby, basket raffles, live music, and the event closes with some fireworks! Vendors will be on hand for food and drink. Take an opportunity to see what LEEK all is about and if you're an outdoors Veteran take a look at their website for upcoming hunts!
