Sports Locker would like to announce that we will be offering alterations and sewing services to the community and continuing the outstanding service that we have all been accustomed to from our friends at John Ash Cleaners Inc.. Edie Short-Keeney from John Ash will be joining our staff, effective immediately. We plan to continue to provide the excellent services that you've expected from them over the years.

Internet Slow? Here's a quick tip. (Allow yourself up to 5 minutes)

1. Remove Only the power from your Modem. (It's the one that normally has a Coax or screw on cord)

2. Remove the power to your Router (Most have tiny antennas except mesh routers which is a newer better type of router system)

3. Wait 1 minute.

4. Plug back in the power to the Modem only. (Wait for all lights to be solid)

5. Plug back in the power to the router.

If this doesn't speed up your Internet or you have to do this a lot then call your Internet Service Provider to get a modem replacement or possible line checked.

Another satisfied customer and repeat customer for a couple of projects. And hey, you aren't doing something right if you don't make someone mad. 🤣😂 I maybe $100 labor for most computer issues but this customer and many others have proved I'm worth it!

Do you have precious valuable information or pictures or programs you can't afford to lose or If you have a slow desktop or laptop I can put a new drive in, will look exactly the same Every file, program and drive will be there but Amazingly faster running, starting and shutting down, and updated for a total of $160-$175 depending on the size of your drive and done within a week. (1-2 days after getting the drive). Doesn't matter how old it is or the operating system. This is waay cheaper than buying a new computer and you'll get more years out of it. Scholarship Spotlight: Tracy Veno Memorial/Olean Professional Firefighters, Local 1796 Scholarship

This scholarship is making its first award in 2024 in memory of Tracy Veno, a city of Olean employee for 39 years.

Tracy graduated from Olean High school in 1977, and graduated with a degree in criminal justice from Jamestown Community College in 1979. Post-college, Tracy graduated from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's academy and began working for the Olean Police Department. Tracy shifted to the City of Olean Fire Department after a short stint with the Olean Police, and his most recent role was as the city's code enforcement officer.

During his tenure, he was an acting lieutenant, a member of the Fire Investigation Team, and played for the Clubbers - the police and firefighter's softball team.

USPS Operation Santa 🎄📭💕
To any parent struggling to afford Christmas this year, all you have to do is write a letter!

If your child writes a letter to Santa and mails it to the address below USPS will post it to the Operation Santa website. Someone will then anonymously adopt your letter and buy the gift(s) requested.. then it will be shipped to your house from “Santa”. Make sure to include their name, age, favorite color, clothes size, shoe size and anything they might want or need! Make sure you put your exact mailing address on the envelope when you mail it so that way the person who adopts your letter to play Santa can ship the gifts!

For everyone who is wondering “WHY GIVE YOUR KIDS ADDRESS OUT?” The answer is you don’t! All personal information is removed from the adoption list. It’s replaced with a QR Code which the adoptee must take to the post office when they are ready to ship the gifts. The post office then prints the shipping label from their database and places it on the packaging after the adoptee has left, so no one will see your address or children’s names except the post office employees.

HOW TO SHIP:
Since the letter writer’s personal information is protected — including their address — the QR Code sent to your email account must be taken to the Post Office when you’re ready to ship the gift. The postal clerk will retrieve the information and will place the shipping label (with the letter writer’s address) on the package without you seeing it.
