✨3D Design Reveal✨ This client wanted help taking her living room to the next level by adding a little bit of “spice,” but it also needs to be comfortable and family-friendly. One of my oldest friends is doing a major renovation of her childhood home, and asked me to help design the new full bathroom. There is no before picture as this room is new construction, but she knew she wanted to keep it light but add some color, so we decided on a navy vanity and some warm tones for the shower tile, floor tile, and linen cabinet. Once the hard finishes were finalized, we decided since this will be her two boys’ bathroom, to add some fun decor for them 🦕 I can’t wait to see this brand new bathroom and will be sure to share with you when the contractors are done.

This was such a fun space to design for a repeat client’s kids. They have a hangout spot in their basement that she wants to make a really fun space for them. The kids have a tabletop Pac-Man game that needed to be incorporated, so the classic Pac-Man colors became my inspiration and jumping off point for the design. It was also convenient that their existing TV stand fits into this color scheme, too. Her son is artistic and her daughter is sporty, so it was important to represent both of their interests here as well. I really love the neon sign and may have to I corporate it into my own boys’ room makeover!

These before and afters may not seem super impressive since there is no decor creating any “wow,” and they are just plain, empty rooms, but we personally get really excited looking at these. These rooms have undergone much more of a transformation than it may appear. Each space has new windows, new heating, new electric, new lighting, repaired walls, new paint, new carpet, and new doorknobs. We were able to keep the original trim and doors to maintain the original character as much as possible. I imagine potential buyers will appreciate these spaces!

Maybe it was nesting, but before I had Crew a couple years ago, it was important to me for the big boys’ bedroom to be a finished, comfortable space before his arrival, so we quickly made it over, but I didn’t put a lot of thought into a design - it was more of a quick fix to make it “nice.” I’m looking forward to this summer when our flip house is done to focus on a few projects around our house, including giving the boys a fun, personalized bedroom. They may be my toughest clients yet 🤣

I am still catching up on posting past design projects, but wanted to jump ahead and share my most recently-completed 3D design. What do you think of this upgraded living room?

This 2D Design was gifted to my client by her SIL, which was fun! Even though she wasn’t expecting it, she knew just what she wanted in her refreshed space, which made working with her so easy! Using the existing wall colors, she wanted a design that incorporated muted colors, and some farmhouse touches. She also wanted a welcoming and functional space for gathering, watching TV, and reading. As you can see, the canvas for this design is so beautiful already, so I can’t wait to see this space elevated 🤍

For this 2D design, my client needed to convert her husband’s office into a nursery for their baby girl. She wanted to paint it a mauve color, and she already had a crib, dresser, and rocker, which were a good jumping off point for the design. Because the rocker is gray, I chose an area rug that had both gray, beige, and creams to marry the cool and warm tones of the room together. To top it off, I commissioned my talented friend Danielle to design and create the beautiful wall hanging above the crib.
