Trying something new. This was at the Robert Ridgeway Bird Haven in Olney this past Friday.

I have to say, after two years of shooting, I think I'm finally where I want to be with my editing. I'm also happy that my son agreed to this shoot, because he's not as excited about them as he used to be! 😂

Sometimes you just don't feel like getting your photo taken🤣Our shoot didn't quite go as planned, but I still love this photo!

I found out there's an art show in Olney next week, so I decided to submit an entry. I just sent my entry in notice today, so we'll see if they get it in time, but either way, here's my work! I found these antique instruments a month or so ago, and then I ordered some vintage sheet music off of Etsy. I'm really happy with how these turned out and how they look framed.
*not that anyone would notice but me, but there's a glare/reflection on the bottom part of the glass in the frames, so please ignore that part 😆

I've been twiddling my thumbs waiting for warmer weather to do some great photos of your kiddos for you! So while I wait, I downloaded this free image from signatureedits.com to keep up on my fine art editing skills. Take a look at the after and before!

My son is getting to the point where he's no longer excited to help me out with photos, so no smile from him while he let me test out my new camera tonight 😐

I want to do a Steampunk styled photoshoot with my son. Anyone have any ideas where to get a costume like this for an 8 year old? I can only find them for adults, and the one I can find on Amazon is subpar quality. Thanks!

Here's another before and after I edited during the Masterclass I'm taking. Again, the photo was taken by Kaylon Jones, and I'm just learning the editing from her. I really can't wait for it to warm up to get outside with some of your kiddos!

I did NOT take this photo, but I DID edit it (legally)! The photo was taken by a photographer in GA named Kaylon Jones. I've decided to take her Masterclass on editing, and this is from the first class. As everyone knows, I love Fine Art edits. This particular style is often referred to as "Storytime Editing" and there were some aspects I couldn't quite nail down on my own, so I decided to take some classes. Keep an eye out as the weather gets warmer and I will probably do a little model call to take what I've learned and show you all what I can do with it! Also, if anyone already has cute little outfits like this, let me know!

Finally getting around to post these of this little Victorian-esque model! I'm a little partial because she's family, but I think she looks great and did a great job!

Photography doesn't have to just be for your two legged family! How adorable is Hoyt?? It was very hard to let the Breeden's take this little guy back with them!

To keep my skills sharp between shoots, I will often go back to old photo shoots and edit a photo that, for whatever reason, just didn't make the cut the first time around. Here is one such photo. She was such a joy to have in the studio!
