Here are a few of our favorite Summer & Travel Skincare Tips:
☀️Use a water-based moisturizer- They’re lightweight and provide hydration without feeling heavy or greasy, and they tend to absorb quickly into the skin.
☀️Limit retinol use prior to sun exposure- Retinol increases skin’s sensitivity to the sun, making you more prone to sunburn. You should be applying your retinol at night, and protecting your skin with SPF during the day.
☀️Choose a lightweight sunscreen- A lightweight sunscreen will allow your skin to breathe, reducing the likelihood of breakouts and clogged pores. Opt for a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 for adequate protection.
☀️Add a calming serum to your routine- This step will help soothe the skin and can often provide an extra layer of hydration, while also helping to strengthen your skin barrier. ( C-Esta Serum is one of our favorites!)
