The trolls are 15–20 feet tall and made from recycled materials like structural wood, used pallets, and found decorations like shells, tree branches, and stones. Artist Thomas Dambo's goal is to promote Danish-American relations and connect Scandinavian traditions with Coast Salish tribal communities. The trolls are part of a larger nationwide tour that's expected to last at least three years.
