All those lash extensions I love doing so much that I had to go back to school for 🖤

Lashes, let’s talk about them! I’m of the camp of “do no harm.” Firstly, I need you to know that I’d never perform a service on you for any amount of money if I know it’s not safe for you to have. As an educator it would be negligent, and as a self employed small business owner it would put me out of work so fast!

Lash extensions have started booming lately, but I’ve been doing them since 2009! There are safe methods and wrong methods of doing lashes. I’d like to say I do them safe and complimentary to your eye shape and face. I make sure we both go into a set as a team, by that I mean I’ll do my part to provide you with a custom and safe set of lashes, and you do your home and after care between fills.

It really is an art and I love the patience and time it takes to do them. It’s a place of zen for me when it would be tedious to other estheticians. Each one of has our own service preferences but this is one of them that I’m proficient and passionate about.

If you’ve ever been on the fence about lash extensions I’d like to be someone that can answer any questions you may have as well as someone you can trust to take care of you! 🖤

Let me tell you about that time I had to go to esthetics school. 😂

So back in the day mail techs were allowed to do lash extensions. I loved doing them and about 50% of my income was lash extensions. Well at some point the state took that away from nail techs, rightfully so, as it’s very much so out of the scope of a nail tech. Sadly I had to stop doing lashes.

Fast forward, I go to esthetics school, just so I can legally do lashes! I end up falling in love with everything esthetics! Brazilian waxing is my next favorite service after nails!

School was fun! And I eventually became a nail instructor too. I loved to teach! I still do.

Hello friends! If you’re new here allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m Tatiana, owner of Tosh. I’ve been in the beauty industry as a nail tech for 17 years. I eventually added a PMU, esthetics, and instructor credentials a few years ago. I absolutely love love love my job!

As I’ve said above, I love love love my job. I get to work on all kinds of people from all different walks of life all while doing the most fun services. All of my services are completely custom to your needs and style.

I initially became a nail tech because I thought getting to make money painting nails was legit a cool thing to do. As I got to work on people throughout my career I found my true calling of making people feel their best selves. Having that kind of impact with just a set of nails or a fresh wax, a relaxing facial, made my heart warm. Really! Not even joking. I’ve learned so much from my clients and I’ve also got to be apart of my clients lives in such a small bit impactful way and if I could do this job for free I would!

All that to be said, I’m currently accepting new clients and I’d love to meet you! All are welcome and valued. Let me literally hold your hand through your next beauty maintenance routine!

I had to share a beautiful exchange I just had with a client.

When I start a service I always start with asking ”How are you?” I genuinely mean it and want to know. After all you’re in a space that’s all yours for the duration of your appintment. I want you to be able to let it all go and relax.

We went down the rabbit holes us ladies go to describe “how we are.” We had a similar experience this year that was quite literally earth shattering; But here we are showing up each day. We “trauma bonded” as I like to say.

After we finished and checked out, we hugged it out and wished each other good vibes and love until next time.

And this is why I do what I do. I get to physically touch people for work and that’s not something very many professions get the privilege to do. While what I do is clinical, this may be the only physical contact some people get that’s not demanding something from them. I’m honored by that and in the process I get to provide comfort. Whether it be to trauma bond or belly laugh, or spill the tea-it’s always an Aesthetic Experience here at Tosh!
