Join us Thursday evening for the first session of an introductory course covering three of the most prominent religious traditions in human history: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It will consist of a brief historical overview of each these three traditions as well as a discussion of the Five Bs of religion as they relate to each tradition: Belief, Behavior, Belonging, Becoming, and Body. https://www.trifaith.org/events/foundations-of-judaism-christianity-islam-course-session-1-evening/
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
โ Identify and describe basic elements (teachings, rituals, community) of all three religious traditions
โ Analyze and summarize the similarities and differences between and within Judaism, Christianity, and Islam
โ Use best practices of intentional dialogue (like active listening, rephrasing, and expressing one's own views)

I am so proud to announce my grandson and the late David Kuhl's grandson and the great grandson of the late former Eagle Scout Luke Heckman, BLAINE QUY will be receiving his Boy Scout Eagle Award with his Great Uncle Luther Heckman, Eagle Scout and his Boy Scout Uncle, James Kuhl helping in the ceremony. Eagle Scout Rev. Dwight Williams will do the invocation and benediction. Blaine is the son of Assistant Scoutmaster Adam Quy and Lisa. Friend and fellow Scouter from an Omaha troop, Dakota will also be receiving her Eagle Award. Please join us in celebrating this big day with us. Refreshments follow.

Bennington, Nebraska, was one of the areas impacted by tornado damage last Friday, April 26th - the Church working together in community.
Even in the storm, God is good. We have banded together as a community these last few days, now itโs time to worship our Creator together. There will be a group of us loading trucks in between services to take donated items to the high school at noon for the community service roundup where the City will give us a variety of service tasks. Please join us. ๏ฟผ
