From the members of IVFD, we want to extend our gratitude to The Salvation Army Western Division for providing a meal on July 4th! Having meals provided assists in our mission of staying staffed with our volunteers on busy holidays. Our members responded to several emergencies within the Irvington Fire district throughout the evening.

IVFD wrapped up another busy year! Our volunteers responded to 841 emergencies including 624 EMS calls and 217 Fire calls.

We are currently seeking volunteer firefighter and EMS personnel to join our department. We have opportunities for those who live outside our fire district with our hourly program and for those who are only interested in EMS with our EMS only program. No experience is required as all training will be provided by the fire department.

If your are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us on Facebook or email [email protected].
