🍽️ What inspired your journey in the food industry?
"My journey in the industry didn't start so much in the catering world, but just in events in general. I have always been a planner at heart and being able to be a part of every event from the very beginning until all of the clean up is over, is so special to me. I love to sit back and watch the small interactions between guests, staff, other industry professionals, and everyone in between to see everyone truly enjoying their time together."
🍽️ Who would you call your mentor?
"The catering community is unique in that you may be someone's competition one day, but the next week you are working together to pull off a big event. I am always looking to my colleagues, other local industry professionals, and caterers across the country for insights and opportunities to grow personally and professionally."
🍽️ What is your favorite cuisine/dish?
"Being part of AOF is so fun because who doesn't love food?! My favorites change with the seasons, but I will always be a sucker for anything Rebekah and the pastry team makes! There is nothing like a hot cinnamon roll straight out of the oven!"
🍽️ What do you do when you're not working at AOF?
"I try to soak up all of the time I can get with my kids when I'm not working! Time is such a thief, so these years of them being so young are not something I want to take for granted!"
🍽️ What do you love most about AOF?
"I truly love so much about this company. The people, the standards that we hold ourselves to, and the true love and passion that goes into each event from every department is something very special and not taken lightly!"

🍽️ What do you do when you are not at the cafe or working at AOF? "I love to take walks outside, read my books, and hang out with friends!"
🍽️ What do you love most about AOF: "The people! Everyone is so hardworking and they put so much love and care into events and make everyone feel special."

🍽️ What is your favorite cuisine/dish? "TACOS! Everyone at work knows when there are tacos for lunch, I'm doing the taco/happy dance."
🍽️ What inspired your journey in the food industry? "I LOVE food. I love helping people. What better way . . . feed their bellies and make them happy."
🍽️ What do you do when you’re not in the kitchen or working at AOF? "Hanging at home with my dogs and soon-to-be husband. Also, you can catch me watering the garden or feeding the squirrels. LOL! Throw in a good IPA too! 🙂 "
🍽️ What do you love most about AOF: "The relationships I have endured. I work alongside some pretty badass, hard-working people. I love seeing their faces every day. 🙂 "

🍽️ What is your favorite cuisine/dish: "I love American food - it's a comfort cuisine for me and reminds me a lot of growing up in a small town!"
🍽️ What inspired your journey in the food industry: "I love all things supply chain management and logistics, but I knew I couldn't be behind a spreadsheet all day. I rediscovered my love for hospitality and catering and been a natural fit. I love making people happy by working as a team and making things happen!"
🍽️ What do you love most about AOF and what is your favorite item on the AOF menu: "As a company, AOF is extremely logistics-minded and always looking for ways to innovate with a love for people and food at its core. I love that we all come together for our customers! Spinach & Artichoke Phyllo Bites are my favorite item!"
🍽️ What do you do when you’re not working at AOF: "I love to get on a sailboat whenever I can and spend time with family and friends! I can't wait for the College World Series in Omaha this June!"

🍽️ What do you love most about working at AOF: "I’ve been given so many amazing opportunities to be creative and to further my knowledge in the catering industry because of AOF, however, what keeps me coming back every day has to be the amazing staff I work with. These “coworkers” are all extremely special to me."
