Happy Easter to those who are celebrating today!
Short answer? NO! Cotton swabs often push the wax in further, creating an impaction and can potentially injure the ear drum and ear canal.
Instead, try using the water from your shower to flush out your ears if needed. If you have excessive wax, talk to your doctor about using an over-the-counter ear wax softener solution or see a professional such as an audiologist or physician to have it removed safely.
