Have you ever heard of the rotator cuff? If you have, then good for you, but I hope it isn't because you have had a shoulder injury. The rotator cuff consists of 4 small muscles that keep the arm secure and stable in the shoulder socket. This is vital since an unstable shoulder is a recipe for disaster. You already know that I hate injuries, but did you know that rotator cuff injuries are among the most common? If you are over 40 years old, then you are at a much greater risk for these debilitating and painful injuries. Not good. Keeping your rotator cuff (and the rest of the shoulder) in good condition takes only a few minutes and can save you trips to the physical therapist or surgeon. We call this shoulder prehab, and all of our Bodysmith members have it included in all their workouts. What can I say?
