R A N D I | The Worthy Project
This woman is a literal QUEEN! Her interview left me feeling beyond empowered and motivated ! She is a force to be reckoned with and has paved the way for others in her industry to stand up and say ENOUGH!
Q:Reflecting on your past experiences, how do you perceive the impact they have had on your personal growth and resilience?
A:I no longer seek validation from others. Confidence in my values empowers me to advocate for what’s right and to distance myself from anyone threatened by my presence and situations that no longer serve me. My circle is smaller, but intentionally fortified with genuine support and encouragement. Choosing myself first has been liberating, allowing me to thrive in environments that value authenticity and innovation, and celebrate qualities I was one criticized for.
Q: Have there been moments where you’ve challenged societal norms or expectations in pursuit of your goals? Can you share an example and discuss the outcome?
A: Walking away from an industry I dominated for nearly a decade garnered significant attention, yet it was a crucial act of self preservation. The realization that an entrenched culture was not an isolated problem, but systematic across an industry was eye opening and liberating. Finally understanding what cannot be fixed empowered me to depart. This decision liberated me leading to greater fulfillment and professional growth. It was a journey of unlearning the notion that worth is soley tied to achievements lifted my heavy heart.
Q: Drawing from your journey, what practical advice would you offer to other women who may be navigating similar challenges or aspirations?
A: Take care of yourself, and each other. We are all inherently worthy. There is no need to shrink yourself to make others comfortable. If something no longer serves you, trust yourself and walk away. Remember, Karma favors the bold.
Absolutely gorgeous parents to be 💜 That baby gonna be winning!!! 🥇
There is just something about photographing healthy love that brings my heart so much joy. That there are still powerful couples out there just crushing life together and still so in love with each other through all life’s stages, the good the bad . Through all if it They CHOOSE each other every single day because they wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else 🫶🏻
MARCIE | The Worthy Project
Marcie is one of my very best friends for the last 18 years. To say she’s had an impact on my life is probably the biggest understatement. She has taught me so much about life . That your perspective is merely a byproduct of your internal dialogue and that you can change that at any point. She taught me that a lot of things in life just really “aren’t that deep” and that we are truly in control of our own reactions , we get to CHOOSE how we react to our environments, we GET to CHOOSE to be happy or feel like victims of our circumstances. In truth The amount of deep talks we’ve had can never be summarized by a simple post. She is my soul sister and here is her story.
Raised in the shadows of doubt and insecurity, my journey has been a testament to resilience and redemption. Growing up, the echoes of self-doubt reverberated louder than any external noise, leaving me grappling with a sense of worthlessness and indecision. Yet, in the face of adversity, I discovered an inner strength that would ultimately shape my destiny.Harnessing the pain of my past as fuel for transformation, I embarked on a bold entrepreneurial venture, determined to carve my own path to success. Through sheer grit and unwavering determination, I built a thriving empire, comprising a network of esteemed hair salons and a groundbreaking hair extension company. But my journey didn’t end there. As I navigated the twists and turns of entrepreneurship, I unearthed a deeper purpose—one rooted in the profound impact of empowering others to embrace their beauty and self-worth. Today, I am a part of a pioneering company dedicated to enhancing and measurably changing lives, through the power of hair extensions. And I find my greatest fulfillment is the tangible difference I make each day.My story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of self-belief. Through my work, I strive to inspire others to rise above their own challenges, embrace their uniqueness, and rewrite their narratives of triumph.
These moments , are literally what I live for 💜

Motherhood is often likened to a whirlwind of emotions, responsibilities, and unpredictability. The phrase “organized chaos” sums it up nicely. In that chaos is so much beauty and in the studio my goal is always to capture authentic moments as well as those “perfect” portraits .
That’s why I am now Booking Limited Edition Motherhood sessions
Let me capture that perfectly imperfect time in a beautiful timeless way .

Being a part of WORTHY is a capstone. It forced me to look back on my life and acknowledge
the things that had to happen to become the person you photographed today. I am proud of
who I am and with the support of some very special people, I now recognize I am WORTHY of
my achievements. It took a long time to get here.
Every day my father’s words dim a bit more and that is healing. It’s an incredible thing to finally
get to the top of the mountain you’ve been climbing your entire life. The path I’ve taken to get
here was certainly not traditional, but it worked for me. I wouldn’t change one thing because I
wouldn’t be who I am now if even a single instance happened differently. I’ve finally embraced
the things that should’ve broken me. It’s a juxtaposition, my life. Broken but beautiful.
Someone I admire recently said to me, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey along
the way. Being a part of the WORTHY project has helped me celebrate my journey. It was time.
I hope my story helps inspire and encourage other women to also embrace their journey, even
the most difficult parts and remember the darkest nights produce the brightest stars. Per aspera
ad astra – through adversity, to the stars.
A M Y | The Worthy Project
It has been said that on the other side of adversity is where you find your true self-and that absolutely is my story. My son, Charlie was diagnosed with Lennox Gastaut syndrome-a very debilitating form of epilepsy – at age 2. I was given a 99% chance Charlie would remain a two-year-old and experience significant delays. Doctors told me to hire full-time care and prepare for a lifetime of doctor’s visits, Seizures and therapy. It was at this time that I truly had a spiritual experience. I crawled to the end of the hallway sobbing on my hands and knees- when I came to the end of the hallway, I looked up and saw a church across the street from the hospital with an illuminated cross on the very top of the roof. It was then that I experienced an incredible inner moment with God, telling me stand up, your child is going to be a miracle. It was that day, that I found my voice and my other self. From that day forward I chose to live in the penthouse with my thoughts. I surrounded myself with positive thinkers and individuals, who were stepping out in faith and taking inspired action. I chose to have faith and know everything is always working out for me in the most miraculous way. I have definitely learned more from my failures than my successes. While I have been blessed to experience tremendous success in my careers, the failures and challenges are what have made me who I am today. Our family motto has always been what the mind can conceive, and believe it can achieve. Today- my son is 22 years old and seizure free, medication free, and disability free. Every day I work on continuing to build myself and my vision. I know my purpose on this life is to serve and love others through my real estate business, my social, selling business, and my coaching business. It has been an absolute privilege to work with so many incredible individuals, allowing them to borrow my belief, and seeing them succeed and achieve their wildest dreams. I believe that the greatest investment you can make is in yourself. I have had the privilege of working with very successful entrepreneurs, who have propelled me to the next level and I am so grateful for their mentorship. If you’re not uncomfortable, you’re not growing. I have a burning desire and purpose in my heart and I do not want to leave this earth with dreams in my heart or a song in my soul-so I am definitely playing all out.

Becki’s story is one of resilience and determination in the face of adversity within the male-dominated trucking logistics industry. Becki was drawn to the business from a young age. However, she quickly realized that entering this world as a woman would be no easy feat.
Undeterred by the challenges ahead, Becki embarked on her journey to build her own trucking logistics company. Armed with a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for innovation, she set out to carve her niche in a field dominated by men.
From the outset, Becki encountered skepticism and resistance. Many doubted her abilities simply because of her gender, questioning whether she could handle the demanding nature of the business. Yet, Becki refused to be sidelined by outdated stereotypes. Instead, she let her actions speak louder than words.
Through sheer grit and determination, Becki worked tirelessly to establish her business. She forged strategic partnerships, honed her negotiating skills, and leveraged technology to streamline operations. Despite facing numerous setbacks along the way, she remained steadfast in her commitment to success.
Over time, Becki’s perseverance paid off. Her company flourished, earning recognition for its efficiency, reliability, and commitment to excellence.
Becki herself became a symbol of empowerment for women in the industry , inspiring others to defy expectations and pursue their dreams.
Today, Becki’s story serves as a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Through hard work, determination, and unwavering belief in herself, she overcame adversity to build a successful business in an industry traditionally dominated by men. And in doing so, she paved the way for future generations of women to follow in her footsteps, proving that gender is no barrier to success.
A Self portrait today. Feeling at peace again in life has taken me 4 years. I am so grateful with where I am at in life because I fought like hell to get here.
Healing from trauma was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I used to constantly say “I don’t feel safe in my own body.” It’s because my body was my own personal hell. The sheer amount of anxiety and cortisol coursing through me daily was debilitating. I was suffering from cptsd. Thank god for neuroplasticity and emdr. Your mind will always be your biggest strength and asset or your biggest source of pain there is no in between, however, the beauty in that is you get to choose. ✌️

KRISTI | The Worthy Project
Perfectionism , it’s praised among many but why do we have the tendency to strive for nearly impossible perfect results? What causes this ? For Kristi it was always a desire to be seen and to feel good enough to feel “worthy”. Love and attention was “earned” and not something that was given freely. Unlearning this is one of the hardest lessons in life. Your intrinsic value is not measured by your performance, you are worthy just because you woke up today. You are not here to perform for anyone but to experience life’s beauty by just “being”. “I am” … it’s the shortest sentence but its meaning is incredibly valuable. “I am” is a declaration, meaning “ I exist” and that is Enough.

“Things do not happen TO you, they happen FOR you. Your job in life is to figure out why and turn it into greatness!” - Kris Martinez
Have you ever met someone who just radiates beauty? Inside and out Kris is the epitome of that. She is strong, and beautiful and loves others fiercely. She took that love for others and started her own journey to build something to help others reach not only their weight loss goals but change their lives in the process.
She took her own story of adversity as a young single mom and flipped the script, she knew the challenges she would face and she faced them head on with a positive attitude and determination that knew no bounds!
She wants you to know that God makes no mistakes and you too are destined for greatness.

To summarize this woman’s story and legacy would never do it justice. I can’t in words describe how inspiring, motivational and beautiful her soul is. Sharing just a tid bit of her interview below , I am absolutely completely honored to have her be a part of this project .
Q: Can you recount a specific moment or event from your life that you believe has been instrumental in shaping who you are today?
A: When I was a little girl, maybe five or six, I decided that I didn’t want to live like mom. I woke up at my babysitters house and i had lost a tooth. Of course, I was excited to tell my mom. She was sleeping on the couch, facing the cushions and when she rolled over, I could see her face had been beaten. Her eye was black, her lip was big and bloody, bruises on her neck. I figured she had lost more than a tooth too, so I didn’t tell her. We lived in domestic violence and alcoholism. Most people may never comprehend making a conscious choice as such a young age, I say you are so lucky!
Q: Can you describe a particular instance where you felt a strong sense of empowerment or accomplishment? What factors contributed to that feeling and how did it shape your identity?
A:I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins follicular lymphoma when I was 38. It was in my abdomen, behind my organs, in my liver, heart and 15% of my bone marrow. I was really, really sick. For over 2 1/2 years I had three different doctors tell me I needed to seek mental health treatment, nothing was wrong with me. I believed them. It was awful. I felt like I was crazy person that was making myself sick.
I had four little kids, 16, 11, 10 and 9. That journey shaped all of us. It was the first time in my life that I granted myself grace and truly began to accept (and like who I was as a wife, mom, and woman.
Turns out, I am quite a bad ass! I learned how to advocate for myself and I share that with anyone who is experiencing something similar. Trust your body! Trust your instinct! Show up for yourself!
“Crowded Table. Get yourself one. Mine continues to grow
and bless me.” - Carrie Hogueison Jensen

L I S A | The Worthy Project
First, I want to say how immensely humbled I am to work along side such a talented photographer for this project – WORTHY. Such an important word for women since everything is so blinded from the social media platforms and the race to try and be someone other than us and who we are and that each of us is worthy in this life no matter what we have been through. So, let’s stop trying to always keep our own crowns straight and start straightening each other’s. Let’s see each other through the eyes of our Creator.
I won’t say I have had a hard life. I have made some hard choices that had collateral damage in many ways. Majority of my life as a young child and in my teens struggled with being seen, heard, and really feeling loved. I never really had a lot of friends growing up and to this day I really can’t say I have mastered this in my 40s. For a long time, I weathered my worth on making people like me by conforming to who they are as a person and who they wanted me to be - not seeing the true worth and beauty in myself. It became a monster in my 30s going through a bad divorce, moving a ton of times, not really knowing how I was going to come through it all. It was a s**t storm; but through that storm I met the most amazing friend – that can in no way let me down and loves me for me – Jesus. I am a Christian – I was baptized in 2015. It was the most beautiful thing next to giving birth to my children.
There are still many challenges, but one thing is for sure - I realized that being seen or validated by another person is not what makes us Worthy. It’ you, me our differences, our beauty, our thoughts, and most importantly our journey in life! It is on my heart to help women to enrich another woman’s life encouragement and strength to stand up for YOU.
