This Labor Day, we celebrate and give thanks for the hands and hearts that contribute to the wellbeing of our community. We believe that every act of labor, big or small, is an opportunity to serve God and each other. Let's continue to uplift and support one another in all we do.

On National Grief Awareness Day, we are reminded that so many walk through life with a ball of grief just waiting to come to the surface. May we show up for each other with grace and peace, allowing space to grieve and support one another on this never-ending journey.

Grief can feel like an unrelenting ocean, pulling us under when we least expect it. But even in the darkest moments, we are not alone. With God’s light and the love of our community, there is hope and healing on the horizon.

Volunteers are what makes The Big Party possible - especially these Grill Masters who cook up all the delicious food for everyone! Please consider signing up to volunteer or donate food so we can keep this event free for all!

Join our JEDI class series, where we’ll explore race, gender, socioeconomic status, religion, sexual identity, abilities, age, and national origin through powerful readings, films, and discussions. Together, we’ll uncover how these issues shape our lives, church, and community, all while connecting them to biblical teachings.
