En momentos de crisis, tú eres la calma. Te tomas de la mano, te secas las lágrimas y traes esperanza con cada paso que das. Su trabajo va mucho más allá de la atención médica; es un testimonio de humanidad, bondad y resiliencia. Así que brindo por ustedes, los héroes anónimos del mundo de la salud.

Congratulations to our 5 amazing OMSD students who were recognized last night by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools at The Multilingual Recognition Dinner!

The Multilingual Recognition Award was established in 1987 to recognize the outstanding contributions that enrich linguistically diverse students’ educational
experience and academic achievement.

The annual recognition program promotes the quality of education for multilingual learners by honoring the dedication of individuals who have positively impacted students’ success.

OMSD’s phone service provider is currently experiencing intermittent outages. As such, school sites and district offices are experiencing issues receiving and dialing out. Unfortunately, we currently don’t have an ETA for repairs, however, we will continue to keep our OMSD community apprised. All school sites can be reached via email. Additionally, all administrators have access to cell phones and those are working properly.

Super Science Days and Careers in Healthcare Day at Lehigh were a success. We are grateful for the partnership with San Antonio Regional Hospital for bringing these great learning opportunities to our OMSD students.

Los Súper Días de la Ciencia y el Día de las Carreras en el Cuidado de la Salud en Lehigh fueron un éxito. Estamos agradecidos por la asociación con el Hospital Regional de San Antonio por brindar estas excelentes oportunidades de aprendizaje a nuestros estudiantes de OMSD.

OMSD will be providing Spring Break Supplemental Food to students on a first come first served basis on Monday, March 25 from 10:00 am – 12 noon (or until we run out). The distribution will take place at Serrano Middle School and De Anza Middle School. Students must be present or an OMSD student ID must be presented and there is a limit of 2 bags per car – NO EXCEPTIONS. Even though these are being distributed at 2 OMSD sites, this is open to all OMSD students.

Anticipándose al receso de primavera, OMSD proporcionará alimentos suplementarios para los estudiantes el lunes 25 de marzo de 10:00 am a 12 del mediodía (o hasta que se acabe la distribución). La distribución se llevará a cabo en las escuelas secundarias Serrano y De Anza. Los estudiantes deben estar presentes o se debe presentar una identificación de estudiante de OMSD y hay un límite de 2 maletas por automóvil, SIN EXCEPCIONES. Aunque estos se distribuyen en 2 sitios de OMSD, están disponible para todos los estudiantes de OMSD.

Ontario-Montclair School District (OMSD) invites our students, families, community, and OMSD Staff to join us for the Ontario Clippers Game at the Toyota Arena on Thursday, March 21. It is a special OMSD Event where we will be honoring local heroes and the theme for the game is Super Heroes. All students will receive free specially designed comic books and lots of giveaways at the game.

The doors for the game open at 6pm and the game begins at 7pm. This event is FREE for OMSD. However, we ask that you bring the attached flyer and/or spirit gear to the event. For our OMSD students: Please keep in mind that students MUST be accompanied by an adult or adults to attend the game.

All you need to do is bring the attached flyer with you to the OMSD Tent. We want to have OMSD well represented and hope you will join your colleagues, students, families, and friends. We encourage you to wear your school site/department spirit gear. During the halftime time show, the Ontario Clippers will be honoring heroes from within our community. Lots of giveaways are planned for this event.
This is a great opportunity to celebrate our students and the hard work of our staff with a fun family night out.
