Pray for our missionaries of the week, Marty and Chandler. Marty and Chandler knew as soon as they left the missions field that they’d be gone temporarily. They were only returning to the United States to prepare for their next assignment. For this couple, the choice was an easy one: continue their call to missions with the International Mission Board (IMB). Many short-term missionaries finish one term with IMB and return for another—they are often called “boomerangs.”
When Marty and Chandler were on the field, they saw intentional discipleship lead to church planting and multiplication in a refugee camp in the Middle East. God called them to try this strategy in sub-Saharan Africa, which has been identified as the future epicenter of Christianity.
Marty trains seminary students to carry the gospel to 29 of the least-reached people groups living within their country. Chandler, armed with a few years of nursing experience in the US, equips pastors’ wives with basic medical knowledge so they can make a tangible impact on their communities, providing opportunities for gospel access.
“What we realized is that local pastors and local believers can go places we can’t go,” Marty said. “The best way for us to multiply ourselves and extend our reach is to train other people to go and share as well.”
PRAY God would bring out immense multiplication in communities like the one where Marty and Chandler diligently serve.

We are working hard to update our email address list to keep our pastors as updated as possible about what is happening at IESBA. We have a lot of support that can be given to our churches, and we want to make sure you are always updated with the current events and information. Through the association you have access to ministry items such as bounce houses, popcorn machines, etc. You also have access to graphic designing as well as printing at a cheaper rate. Our new church plants receive 6 months of free printing. We love to help our churches and to connect with our pastors! We have monthly pastor's breakfasts that we would love for you to attend to connect with other pastors and build community! Our pastors wives also have many events designed just for them, and we would love to get the information out to them to make sure they know they are included.
If you could reply or email [email protected] with the email addresses of the pastors/pastor's wives in your church it would really help us to update our lists and keep everyone involved. We need the senior pastor, associate pastor, youth pastor, and any pastor's wife that wants to be included. Thank you so much for your help, and for being apart of the Inland Empire Baptist Association!

Anchor of Hope Ministry is a Christian girls home in Mississippi to help struggling teens. In two days, these teens will be heading to North Carolina for the next two weeks in order to help those affected by Hurricane Helene. A member of our staff personally has a teenager that is attending their program who will be going out to help. We are praying this will be life-changing for her, and God will reach out to her heart while she serves. The churches that the ministry will be partnering with are currently making three meals each day to serve to anyone who needs them in these communities. They are using planes to drop off food and supplies to the communities where people are stuck and cannot get access to items they need. They are also driving into any area they can get to in order to help with physical needs such as diapers, baby bottles, formula, clothing, food, pet food, blankets, etc. They teens will be helping to meet the physical needs in the communities where they serve - digging through mud, debris, serving meals, cleaning, etc. If you would like to donate to help them, you can do so through their website, through their amazon wish list, or sending supplies directly to the address listed below. Pray for these teens as they struggle in their own personal lives, that this would be an opportunity for them to see beyond themselves and help others who are struggling as well.

- UPDATE-
Thank you to those who have donated to the "Louise Moulton" fund. We are so grateful for your generous contribution to help with her medical treatments as she undergoes treatment for stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
So far, we have raised about $17,500!!!
The funds are already going to be a blessing to the Moultons, as Louise starts a few complementary medical treatments this month, in addition to her chemo treatments, which she started on August 27th. In addition to standard chemo, she will also undergo other treatments that will be beneficial to her healing and recovery such as immunotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hyperthermia treatment, and mistletoe therapy, to name a few.
ITS NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE...
Their out-of-pocket costs will be about $10,000 per month. As you can see their financial needs are tremendous. The "Louise Moulton" fund will remain open for ongoing donations, as we know this will be a long journey for their family and we want to alleviate as much financial burden as possible.
If you feel led, please consider clicking the link below to make a gift to help with some of the cost of Louise’s medical treatment and care. A donation of any amount will bless Louise and her family in relieving some of the financial burden this diagnosis can carry.

(Gifts made to the Moulton family through this link are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donations are processed through the nonprofit organization, “Lasting Impact Co.”) Please consider sharing this link with those interested in helping their family!
Thank you for your prayers and love for the Moulton family. Please continue to lift Louise up in prayer for complete healing!
