Earlier this week, armorers switched out the RMR on my Staccato P for an Acro P-2 (hereafter referred to as Staccro).

This morning, I set up for dry fire and found the Staccro doesn't fit in my current duty holster, which broke my heart since I need a duty holster to attend a 1911/2011 class next week.

Luckily, I called Natalie at and she was able to coordinate the best customer service I’ve experienced in recent memory. She checked current stock to see if she had one available to no avail, but then she notified the craftsmen of my situation and they were able to make my holster (Staccato P 4.4”, Acro P-2, Modlite PL350, Basketweave) in 3 hours. Doesn’t get better than that.

If you’ve been on fence about whether you should pick up a US Duty Gear holster, I can attest that you can’t go wrong. Holster is smooth, durable, and their customer service is second-to-none.

Rocking my Staccato P with Holosun 507-Comp and Modlite as my duty pistol. Had issues with the other big name brand RDS holster. Tired of the poor quality control and lack of help from customer service.

Some LASD friends had told us about the awesome folks at US Duty Gear.
I called them up and within 24 hours I had a new holster that worked flawlessly.

Angel and the staff provided excellent customer service, and I am totally digging my US 281 SRS holster. Quality material, straight / zero cant, standard 3 hole pattern for QLS, NCP, etc. will soon be producing a NUB mode for them as well, although the thumb release is pretty good already.

Trialling something new, it’s good, quite good.
The US-280 is a solid holster from , full review coming once I’ve put at least another week of dry and live fire into it. It’s a bit different to what you might be used to, but took me very little time to pick it up.
