I am sure this news will not come as surprise, but due to the recent recommendations, as well as our commitment to partner with our community, we are suspending all elective dental care at this time. Rest assured we are still providing emergency care for all of our patients. You can call or text our normal office number (423) 238-8887. As he always has been, Dr. Tedford will be more than happy to meet you at the office for those needs. We will evaluate the situation at the end of next week and make any determination of a closing on a week by week basis. We will be praying for our community in this very difficult season. We’ve spent a lot of time this morning looking at the weather forecast for this weekend and we’ve decided that the safe bet is to postpone the Oktoberfest event until Saturday, October 24.

We hate to do it, but we also want to ensure that you have the best possible experience while you are here. Even if we have isolated showers this Saturday, it causes a lot of problems in terms of the vendor and live music logistics. Not to mention that Square as of today is saturated. We want this to be a huge, fun community-wide event and we don’t want cold and rain to ruin it for everyone.

Dr. Tedford completed his 4th marathon this morning at the Mercedes Marathon in Birmingham, AL. His family is extremely proud of him!

The staff at Tedford Family Dentistry packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. OCC is a part of Samaritan's Purse and shoeboxes filled with goodies go to children in other countries to teach those children about the love of God and hopefully lead him or her to faith in Christ. National Collection Week is November 17-24.
