With record breaking temperatures, your board’s well-being is crucial. Excessive heat can cause your board to delaminate, a problem not covered by warranties. To protect your investment, avoid storing your board in hot areas like biminis, racks, cars, or anywhere without air conditioning.

For optimal care, in between surf sessions, store your board in the walk-thru area (or other shaded area) of the boat inside a partially unzipped board bag (so as not to create an oven) or board sock. Regularly check the board’s temperature to ensure it stays cool. When not in use, be sure to keep your boards in an air conditioned building.

Wake Outfitters came about as a result of passion and drive for all things Watersports. Originating in Ooltewah, Tennessee, we have grown up on the water and have a passion to see other people be able to enjoy life on the water.

After spending much time searching for the best gear and knowledgeable advice, we soon realized that there was a great need for people that care and know how to qualify others with the right equipment for their needs.
