This genuine 19th century Irish pine piece with a wonderful patina just made its way in the shop❣️Carved with intricate detail, this Irish cabinet features three lengthy open shelves, and coops below originally intended to house hens: Early cupboards often had this feature: the chickens would be let out in the morning after they laid their eggs, and they were kept warm and safe in the kitchen overnight. Coops now make for wonderful storage of dishes, other kitchen items, books, etc. Two pieces make for easier moving. It’s definitely a statement piece!
