Tomorrow, Sept. 18th, is National HIV Aging Awareness Day! So we are soo happy to be speaking to a group of Senior Citizens today!
FYI to all our Medicare recipients!!
Have you gotten a call asking you to confirm your Medicare number or asking if you got a new Medicare card that's:
🔲 Plastic
🔲 Microchipped
🔲 New because it's an election year
🔲 For any other reason
If so, it's a scammer trying to get your actual Medicare number to scam Medicare and steal your medical identity.
If you have received any of these calls or have given out your Medicare number, please contact AL SMP at 1-800-243-5463.
Thank you CVCC for allowing UWC to take part in your Resource Fair! We love being on your beautiful campus! Stop by our table for free HIV information and giveaways!!

IF YOU are good, then it is not about YOU. However, we all know people who need this service. Encourage them to make that phone call. Walk and talk them through the process. Hold their hand, if needed; BUT, more importantly, don’t let them give up. Don’t let them continue to feel defeated and to continue to think the process won’t work for them. It can…. It will…. In most cases. But it starts with a phone call or a scan. 334-517-2162.
