Time is flying by and our show is coming up soon! As always, admission is only $5 per adult, children under 12 free with paying adult.

Tables are still available, but they are going fast. Table reservation cut off is October 2nd! As always, there is a definite chance of a tables selling out, so don't wait!

IPMS Orange County is hosting our annual OrangeCon model contest on Sunday, October 1st.

Everything is set, including the special awards including the Theme Award – “That’s Italian” – Any subject made in Italy or represented in Italian markings.

We would appreciate it if you would share the attached PDF Flyer with anyone else you feel may be interested.

IPMS Orange County's OrangeCon 2022 has a new date and a new place!

Three weeks ago, we were informed that the Hotel Fullerton was shutting down. We scrambled and managed to find another venue, but it meant moving the date one day.

OrangeCon will now happen on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022. It will be held at The Doubletree by Hilton (formerly the Holiday Inn), 7000 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA – that’s on Beach between the 91 Freeway and Orangethorpe.

OrangeCon is ON!

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Memorial day this weekend. We hope that everyone enjoys the day and remembers the veterans who are the reason we have it. We would also like to thank all veterans and their family members for their service and sacrifices.

We are slowly working on transitioning online. We have been working on our physical inventory and setting up our online marketplaces. In the meantime, we plan to be at Ventura Hobbies Modelfest at the Ventura Fairgrounds this weekend to bring to model shop to you. Hope to see everyone there!

These past few years have been hard for everyone in the world, including our own little corner of the modeling community. Business shutdowns, supply chain issues, product shortages, rising costs of goods and services; there is almost no end to issues which have affected us.

Due to these reasons, I have made the decision to move Military Hobbies away from a traditional retail environment to focus instead on online and in person model show events.

I would like to thank everyone in the modeling community, both local and elsewhere, for their continued support and business.

New in the shop - The newest issue of Meng Air Modeller. This issues features an outstanding diorama of a US Navy Panther hitting the crash barrier...magnificent model!

The newest issues of Scale Military Modeller International and Scale Aviation Modeller International have now winged their way across the Atlantic to reach us here in the shop.

This year, Father's Day is on Sunday June 20th. Still trying to come up with a gift idea other then a tie? How about a model? Model Building is a good way to spend time with Dad, or Grand Dad, and talk while working on your project.

A big restock of Revell is in the shop. This includes a limited number of the Spitfire Mk II with the Special Iron Maiden markings and figures.

Big restock in the shop from Airfix. The only "NEW" kit in the bunch is their reissue of the Hs123 attack aircraft. Restocks on a lot of stuff we have not been able to get for a while.

Before anyone asks, no, there were no Bristol Beauforts in this shipment. We have been told that they are in the next container which is due towards the end of June.

New issues of both Scale Avitation Modeller International and Military Modeller International have arrived in the shop.

More new magazines in the shop. Meng AFV Modeller 117, Meng Air Modeller 94 and the latest (May) issue of FineScale Modeller.

Seems like the Kalmbach people are making up for last year's delays...getting new issues from them every three weeks.
