We, Local 582, received recognition for our "Kindness" from County Board Supervisor Doug Chaffee. We were recognized for donating both a new pitching machine and basketball shoot around equipment for Anaheim High School teams with our partner Verne's Plumbing. Thank you for allowing me to receive this honor on your behalf.

Anaheim City Council approves commencement of staff and city manager for negotiations with Building Trades on a Community Workforce Agreement at Tuesdays meeting. Local 582 applaudes the efforts of council members Jordan Brandman and Jose Moreno to get this item agendized. The vote was 6 to 1 in favor. Thanks to all the Building Trades members who should up to support it.
