We've got a 3 month old (adjusted age 2 months because he was born premature) backfloating in our new wetsuits from . These wetsuits allow for a slight amount of all over buoyancy while keeping them in a horizontal position which allows less teacher touch when learning to float. Not only that, they're more comfortable if the water is colder, but rest assured our water is a very comfortable 90 degrees year round!

Rosie is ready for her safety drill. Her back floats are consistent. Now we just need her to see why she needs to roll and float. The safety drill will give her a realistic scenario for her to show her skills. After she gets to play in the pool without fear because she'll know that she can float.
And sometimes daddy teaches. 💕

We have ourselves a Grade 4 swimmer! Toby is 3 years old and has been swimming at Smart Fish for a little over 2 months just once a week.

Day 6 of life. How it's going. Sagan's 2nd lesson.
Safety and fun all in one. 💕
Here are some of our grade 4 swimmers. 10 Lessons and Mason is doing swim float swim independently. He can also turn around and swim back to the wall and loves diving for toys with assistance. Elias is swimming short distances and doing swim float swim with just a wetsuit and fins. These 4 year olds are gonna have a fun and safe summer! 🤗🏊♂️
This 4 year old was just learning to dip his face in on the first lesson and can now swim short distances underwater while holding his breath and kicking in just 6 lessons. He has almost mastered the roll over to back-float and swim-float-swim. Get ready to see more of Mason's successes!
Just her 3rd lesson and no more tears and all smiles today! So grateful to the parents who stick it out through the fussy lessons. It's worth it for a lifetime of water safety skills.

New numbers show dangerous start to 2021 for drowning incidents in Arizona Arizona through March has had a total of 20 drowning incidents reported and is among the top states for fatal child drownings so far in 2021.
