Official Page of the ROCK RIVER RIDERS MC. We are a Northern Illinois, District 17, AMA motorcycle club located between Polo and Oregon Illinois. We are at 6713 West Pines Road Oregon, IL 61064. Right across the street from White Pines State Park. Annual events open to the public include two Hillclimbs, two Mud Boggs, Trials, Grass Drags, and open ride weekends. Rock River Riders would like to HONOR our fallen angel Bruce Knipple, with sympathy to his family. Please take a moment of silence to remember this great man.

Bruce E. Knipple, 87, of Polo, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at Heritage Square in Dixon. Bruce was born May 19, 1929, in Polo, the son of Garnet and Helen (Adams) Knipple. On July 16, 1948 in Polo, he was united in marriage to Jaqueline Draper (she preceded him on Oct. 5, 2004) .
Bruce was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a longtime member of the Rock River Motorcycle Club, AMA Organization, St. Marks Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post 83, Shriner’s Club and the Dixon Moose Lodge 727.
Survivors include daughter Sharon (Jim) Van Oosten of Dixon; son Gary (Edith) Knipple of Polo; 5 grandchildren Andy (Cori) Van Oosten, Dawn (Brady) Davis, Kenny (Jenni) Yingling, Heath (Jessica) Knipple, Tom (Anna) Knipple; 7 great grandchildren Jessica, Kennedy, Abby, Nathaniel, Paige, Abby and Kate. He was preceded in death by his brother Larry Knipple.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Polo, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Terrie Wilder officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Dixon after the service.

FOR SALE in the Northern Illinois area! It has a newly rebuilt engine, with all new crank, connecting rod, piston rings, and bearings. It has New Plastic, a tether kill switch, an FMF Pipe and Silencer, this is a great bike. The new engine has 10 to 15 hours on rebuild. Ready to ride, race, and just have fun. Asking $1600.00
