I am not sure that I have ever actually introduced myself here so I thought I would today🙃

I’m Whitney! I am the owner of and licensed master aesthetician at pure aesthetics spa. I have done skin care for almost 16 years 🥰. I absolutely love what I do! I have been around all the things in the industry in my time ,from working in day spas, medical spas and luxury high end hotels.

My goal when I went out on my own, was to blend the luxury feel and relaxation I loved during my time in resort spas and the clinical treatments of the medical spa. Which means a chemical peel or microneedle isn’t just “getting treated” but receiving treatments with massage and relaxation practices ❤️

My focus is purely skin and I am here to help you with what ever your skin needs are.

Outside of skincare I am a mom to 3 beautiful kids. I met my husband in a longboarding competition ( I won 😏) and we love the outdoors! Fall is my favorite season and I’m a total cat person 😝.

Melasma from pregnancy and a lot of time I tanning beds as a teen left my face wrecked . Over time and with proper products and treatments I have been able to manage the pigment much better!

Making sure you are using good home care is imperative for pigment. You need to stay on AHA’s and use inhibitors to stop over production of pigment. Also spf during the day is a must . If you need help I would love to assist you! DM me for more info ❤️

Omega Green PDT acne treatment is used for acne care, it will help to reduce sebum and keep your skin fresh. The Chlorophyllin Copper Complex and Chlorella extracted from seaweed and it inhibit the secretion of oil, also kill the acne bacteria while repairing skin troubles. Gua sha is a fantastic way to help drain stagnant lymph in your face.

One thing to remember is that when working with your lymph, you do not need to push hard. It should a light pressure , hardly any , and you should use your stone to make upward strokes toward your hairline starting at your chin.

If you push to hard you will miss the lymph and start working your fascia.

When you are done you should always take your stone and make motions downward in your neck under each ear lobe stroking towards your heart.

This moves the lymph and removed toxins into your circulatory system for removal.

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses small, sterilized needles to prick the skin. It aims to generate new collagen and skin tissue to smooth, firm, and tone skin.

Microneedling can improve:

✨the appearance of scars, including acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles
enlarged pores
✨the appearance of hyperpigmentation, or dark spots
✨uneven skin tone
✨skin elasticity

What about down time?

Most people require minimal downtime if any at all. Usually around 2 days if that.

You may notice skin irritation and redness within the first few days of the procedure. This is a natural response to the minor “injuries” made by the needles in your skin.

Since your skin channels are open and sensitive after your procedure, it’s best to avoid the following during your first week of recovery: sun exposure ,skin care products with alpha-hydroxy acids and retinol, makeup and sweating.

After microneedling, your skin works fairly quickly to rejuvenate new tissue. You may see results within a couple of weeks.

You’ll likely need multiple sessions or complementary treatments to maintain the results.
