For , we spent time remembering the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our country, and the residents enjoyed a barbeque made by Chef Mario and his team.

The residents are soaking up the sunshine and having a great time planting their vegetables and flowers in the garden!

Our celebration continued with some of our favorite candy, denim on denim, and scrunchies for 90s day! The team also enjoyed Hawaiin day, and delicious tacos prepared by our Executive Chef Mario! And we wrapped up the week with a staff BBQ and raffle! We love having a special week to celebrate our hardworking staff. Thank you for everything you do, you truly make a difference!

The residents and staff at Alden Estates of Orland Park had a chance to see the Solar Eclipse today! There was 94% coverage at 2:07pm and it was amazing to see! The next solar eclipse won't happen until 2044, so we are feeling lucky to experience this scientific phenomenon!

Our residents and their families enjoyed a wonderful celebration! Thank you to our Executive Chef Mario and the dietary team for preparing a delicious brunch and sweet treats. It was a great day with a special visit from the Easter bunny!

This morning, we celebrated the retirement of one of our LPNs, Quincy! Quincy has been with us for 13 years. Our staff and residents will miss him dearly.

from Alden Estates of Orland Park! We celebrated our staff with a party just before Christmas. The raffle prize winners were excited, especially Gabriella who won the iPad! And on Christmas day, our residents and their families had a wonderful holiday lunch prepared by our dietary team! It was so much fun to celebrate with our staff, residents, friends, and families!

Countdown to Christmas continues! Today the Candy Cane cart came around and brought smiles to all the staff and residents!

Santa Clause came early! Thank you so much to our friends at Walgreens on Wolf Rd. for stopping by and bringing the residents gifts! It was a great afternoon!

Everyone was in the this past week at Alden Estates of Orland Park! We kicked off our 12 day countdown to Christmas with Red & Green Day, a cocoa cart, and celebrating National Ugly Sweater Day!

With the start of , the residents spent the day learning about the history and traditions of the holiday. They also enjoyed an afternoon of playing trivia and learned how to play dreidel games!

The residents are getting into the ! Dancing to music in the halls and setting up our trees! We're so excited for the season!

The residents enjoyed their festivities yesterday! they made dirt cups, played a game of Halloween-themed Bingo, watched Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin, and painted pumpkins! It was a great day!

We hosted our 2nd annual Trunk or Teat this past weekend! It was a great evening, we saw great costumes and big smiles! We hope everyone had as much fun as our staff and residents did! An extra big thank you to our friends at Orland Park Library, Orland Park Fire Department, and Sunrise Senior Living Olympia Fields for joining in on the fun!

Joana is one of our amazing CNAs. Today we recognized and celebrated all of her hard work! Joana embodies everything that the Health Care Hero Award stands for. She provides compassionate, patient-centered care to each of her residents every time she walks through the door. She is always willing to go above and beyond, treating each resident as if they are part of her own family. We're so lucky to have Joana on our team and we appreciate everything she does!

Our annual Fish Derby and Raffle was a huge success! The weather was beautiful and the fish were biting! Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in making this another great year!
