A Square had a great time at the Full Sail Career Fair last week! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth as we provided feedback on portfolios and discussed our Internship program.

The internship team is working hard playtesting their games for Pandora’s Party Box!

On October 4th, interns at A Square participated in the All Hallows Jam and worked hard to create a memorable horror-themed experience in just 48 hours! Working together in a small group, they created the game Phantom Focus and won the award for The Best Use of Diversifier. One of the two awards categories! We asked our intern Kait, who was the team lead for this game, how their experience was working in the game jam!

"I did learn something new! As it was my first time being a team lead for a game project, it was insightful learning about how to be an accountable and effective producer while also still creating art and dialogue assets for the game. Seeing how hard everybody was working and making such a wonderful game, I felt proud of what we were all able to accomplish as a team. We had worked together before on the MegaHealth Game Jam, picked up a few new members for this All Hallows Jam, and are planning to participate in the Indie Galactic Space Jam as well!"

A Square games and Simulation are proud to welcome our new intern group for the fall internship program. We have a lot of new faces as well as some returning ones and we're excited to see what this new team can do!
