Summary:
The main function of a phlebotomist is to assist in performing various assigned duties, troubleshooting, training, and making workflow recommendations.

Position Responsibilities:
- Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
- Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. 🧪
- Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or f***l) as required. 🩸
- Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. 💉
- Fully understand all of the physicians' orders.
- Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
- Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
- Check all test requisitions or computer labels against the script to ensure 100% correct.
- Package specimens for transport
- Stores specimen samples according to the required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection containers/tubes, accurately labels, and follows different procedures as outlined by specific protocols deemed necessary for transport to maintain the integrity of the specimen.
- Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
- Attend annual department training
- Answer telephone calls, and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteHigh School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of experience

· Must be able to visit existing client facilities and active construction sites, and make observations of existing conditions, current challenges encountered during construction, or other issues that may require physically traversing the site and/or building to observe and measure facilities and equipment not at the main level of the structure.
· Creative thinker with the ability to think outside of the box
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet project schedules and goals. Excellent record-keeping is a must.
· Experience with computer-aided design and drafting programs including but not necessarily limited to AutoCAD and Revit.
· Good verbal and written communication skills, with English as the primary language.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work as a team within the Electrical Department and with other disciplines. Must be detail-oriented and highly motivated with the ability to budget, direct, and assign the work of Electrical Department staff.
· Ability to assist with company sales and marketing efforts as required, including but not necessarily limited to preparing preliminary project designs, estimating project design fees, writing proposals, and attending business development functions.

Our client is looking for an experienced Safety Manager to manage the safety program at a large power generation plant located in NYC. They will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of all Safety programs and processes at the plant. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and continuous improvement in key identified measures and objectives.

General Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· Lead compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and other safety assessments to support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) management.
· Participate in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
· Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
· Provide assistance and advice on Safety issues and make recommendations to plant management.
· Assist in the development and presentation of relevant Safety training
· Follows Safety regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, and corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
· Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and union employees, as well as regulatory agencies.

Plant-Specific Responsibilities (but Not Limited To)
· Walk the operating areas on a regular basis to establish EH&S presence and provide support.
· Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly Safety Meetings/Training and schedule as needed.
