It’s hard to believe that October 18 marks three years since Alan and I (Joey) took the leap into owning College Park Cafe! Our journey began with a shared passion for classic diners and a deep appreciation for midcentury nostalgia, leading us to embark on one of our most rewarding adventures.

Nestled at 2304 Edgewater Drive, College Park Cafe has been a beloved fixture in the Orlando community since its inception in 1951 or 1952, proudly holding the title of what is to be believed as Orlando’s oldest continuously operating classic diner. While the name may have changed over the years, our commitment to the community has remained steadfast.

Since we took over, we've dedicated ourselves to enhancing the diner experience by upgrading various features, improving product quality, and revitalizing the menu to reflect the heart and soul of a classic American diner. Every change has been made with our patrons in mind, ensuring that we maintain the welcoming atmosphere that has made us a local favorite.

When Alan and I decided to go into business together, our priorities were clear: we wanted to create a safe, affordable space where everyone feels at home. Our amazing team and the wonderful community around us are at the core of every decision we make. Since 2021, we’re proud to share that we’ve donated nearly $12,000 in cash and products to various organizations in College Park, because giving back is part of who we are.

Please stop by this weekend to share some of your favorite memories at College Park Cafe and to enjoy our celebratory specials.

Lights, camera, action! We will reopen at 8AM, Saturday 10/12. Please come kick our butts but also be patient as some items will be unavailable this weekend due to loss of inventory and inability to restock until Monday. The below special is available to any lineman still in the area all weekend long. Spread the word. We can’t wait to see you.

Still no power for our block. As a result, we are unsure of when we may be able to reopen as all cold kept inventory must be replaced. 😔

Our power held on as long as possible but finally failed around 4:30AM. We will post again as soon as we can regarding reopening!

An oversized flour tortilla stuffed with plant-based chorizo, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, fresh cilantro and fried potatoes. Serve with sour cream and salsa or cilantro sauce. 🤤🤤🤤
