Big facts. How can someone be ashamed when they don’t know what they don’t know. Everyone has to learn somehow and we all learn at different paces. Some quick. Some slow. All equal! ♾️
Always open for questions. Sending out love to all who need it today 🩵

Happy Monday gang! 🐢
Happy Monday gang! Friendly reminder: 🩵
I learned a very valuable lesson that took me this past year to learn and I’m going to share that with you here:
About a year ago I lost an opportunity that cost me a high salary because of my own “can do” attitude. I shot my own self right in the foot but could not see it in the moment. God did, though.
You see, back then, I knew that if they could run at my speed they could move very quickly to drive results, but they were not ready for that and because I did not have any awareness of self in that moment, I could not crawl at their speed and the end result was a conflict and I was let go.
The lesson:
A year later another potential opportunity came knocking on my door and I wasn’t even looking for it, however, if I had not failed at the previous opportunity (a whole year earlier) I would not be ready for this bigger one.
The moral of the story:
Failure is essential and critical to learning. Even if we have to learn later in life because we were too busy just trying to survive before. If you view failure in a negative way you automatically set yourself for “failure” because you accidentally forgot to see the any value in any lesson. Don’t be afraid to fail. You need failure and when you embrace it your mindset around failure changes as well. We never fail. We only learn and we apply that in every area of our lives. Not just professionally.

If it hurts try writing it down. Set a timer for 3 mins. 5 mins. 10 mins. See if it feels better once it’s on paper. See if it brings any clarity? What do you have to loose by trying?
Here’s what I’ve gathered so far in 2024. You have to cut negativity out of your life unapologetically. They will call you a b***h, a savage, difficult or “too much” News flash: You’re guilty by association on both sides of the coin. If you hang around 5 individuals who are negative thinkers and never see the cup as half full, you will be the 6th. Not because you are a bad person, but it is about who you are surrounding yourself with. You are guilty by associations. On the flip side, if you hang around 5 individuals who inspire you and are already doing the things you want a do, you will be the 6th because you’re guilty by association. Big facts. Hard to swallow.
1993 is when I fell in love with Toby Keith. His first #1 hit “Should have been a cowboy” was the jam back then if you liked country. Music, in all genres, has always been my favorite vise in life because at times, it is all I had, and Toby carried me through a lot times with hit after hit over my entire lifetime. He has made me cry, he has made me laugh and feel every emotion in between with his his voice and guitar. Toby was my first concert with my husband when we first met and 10 years later when we saw your show again, nothing had changed. You were the same ole Toby you been the entire time. Everyone knew every word and we all sang along. I will miss you for my own special reasons, but I think our troops will miss you the most. You brought them so much joy and you were such a light in a time of need and that legacy will live on forever. Through the radio you were a friend to so many and our red solo cups will be that much more special from now on. In your honor 💔🍻 May you forever RIP 🙏🏼
I hear this time and time again.
“Where’s the empathy for me?”
Empathy is a two way street. You have to give it to also receive it. It’s both give and take. If it is all give or all take that leads to emotional burnout.
If we took the first step towards success together! Where would we begin?
You ever get to the point where people have let you down enough that you have to look inside and realize that your pond is empty and you can’t pour from and empty cup and you go really quiet? All you wanna do is let the day pass, feel the title wave, then wake up the next day still ready for the grind to always “be better” ?
Having faith means that when you go quiet it actually means you’re being molded. You might be able to see the island you wanna step foot on but how are you gonna get there? You have to be willing to be uncomfortable while you’re working to figure it out. Sleepless nights even.
One step at a time. That’s faith. Knowing that even though you go quiet always knowing it’s leading you to the next step.
It might be in the quiet moments where we wanna buck, but if we are quiet and look…..there’s always a blessing, even when you can’t see it in the moment. You will always recognize it after the fact.
Sending out all the love,
Cole Vera FLY

No piece of art has ever emotionally affected me the way this robot arm piece has. It's programmed to try to contain the hydraulic fluid that’s constantly leaking out and required to keep itself running...
if too much escapes, it will die so it's desperately trying to pull it back to continue to fight for another day. Saddest part is they gave the robot the ability to do these 'happy dances' to spectators. When the project was first launched it danced around spending most of its time interacting with the crowd since it could quickly pull back the small spillage.
Many years later... (as you see it now in the video) it looks tired and hopeless as there isn't enough time to dance anymore.. It now only has enough time to try to keep itself alive as the amount of leaked hydraulic fluid became unmanageable as the spill grew over time. Living its last days in a never-ending cycle between sustaining life and simultaneously bleeding out... (Figuratively and literally as its hydraulic fluid was purposefully made to look like it's actual blood).
"The robot arm finally ran out of hydraulic fluid in 2019, slowly came to a halt and died - And I am now tearing up over a friggin robot arm 😭 It was programmed to live out this fate and no matter what it did or how hard it tried, there was no escaping it. Spectators watched as it slowly bled out until the day that it ceased to move forever. Saying that 'this resonates' doesn't even do it justice imo. Created by Sun Yuan & Peng Yu, they named the piece, 'Can't Help Myself'. What a masterpiece. What a message."
Extended interpretations: the hydraulic fluid in relation to how we kill ourselves both mentally and physically for money just in an attempt to sustain life, how the system is set up for us to fail on purpose to essentially enslave us and to steal the best years of our lives to play the game that the richest people of the world have designed. How this robs us of our happiness, passion and our inner peace. How we are slowly
drowning with more responsibilities,
with more expected of us, less rewarding pay-offs and less free time to enjoy ourselves with as the years go by. How there's really no escaping the system and that we were destined at birth to follow a pretty specific path that was already laid out before us. How we can give and give and give and how easily we can be forgotten after we've gone.. How we are loved and respected when we are valuable,
then one day we aren't any longer and we become a burden...and how our young, free-caring spirit gets stolen from us as we get churned out of the broken system that we are trapped inside of. Can also be seen to represent the human life cycle and the fact that none of us make it out of this world alive. But also can act as a reminder to allow yourself to heal, rest and love with all of your heart. That the endless chase for 'more' isn't necessary in finding your own inner happiness.”

People in the dark hate the light. Keep shining anyway. When they can no longer see you, they will try to manipulate how others see you. Keep shinning anyway. What is meant for you will always find you and what is not will fall away. Keep shinning always 🌚🌝

Trauma can freeze a part of you at the age it happened. That means that part of you might still be frozen in time at the time it happened and feel in the moment as if the trauma is happening in real time right now. The truth is, it only exists in your memories. So how do we fix that? It is possible to be an adult and have a trauma part of your brain running your life, business or relationships? Every single day we take steps. Some days there are no steps. Sometimes backwards steps and on random days forward leaps and bounds. Starting is the hardest part. If you are having trouble starting, let's connect. I am always open to questions.

Self-care refers to the deliberate and voluntary actions an individual can take to maintain their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It involves activities and practices that help promote personal health, reduce stress, and improve overall quality of life. Self-care is crucial because it allows individuals to recharge, manage stress, and better cope with the demands of everyday life.
