Finishing court for the week here in the city beautiful!

What a great end to the week! My client had a violation of his DUI probation and the prosecutor’s office wanted him to do 180 days in jail! This was his first ever offense and he originally plead to the charge without counsel. We did a motion to surrender to the court and open plea to the Judge. The Judge REINSTATED my client’s probation to give him time to complete the remaining conditions and WITHDREW the warrant!

Not too long ago I posted about the state dropping our client’s case right before trial in Lake County. That case violated our client’s felony probation here in Volusia County and we were scheduled for a violation of probation hearing (mini trial) this morning. Today I am happy to announce that the state dismissed the violation and our client has been reinstated!

Happy Friday! We were successful at getting my client out of Habitual Traffic Offender status (which is a 5 year Driver’s License suspension 😳). If you recieve a traffic citation and want to know what your options are and the penalties that they carry, give us a call! Remember, don’t ever pay that ticket!

After being illegally arrested a year ago, several offers given to us, and a motion to suppress later, our client no longer has to worry about the possibility of jail, probation, or a felony conviction. Before the start of our motion to suppress hearing, the State dropped the case and agreed with our position!

Injunction matter, document pick up, and expungement application dropped off. What an afternoon in beautiful downtown Orlando!

Successful day in court this afternoon in Volusia County as I was able to defend our client from a mandatory $1,000 fine and 6 months driver’s license suspension! After a full hearing, her traffic citation was dismissed! No matter how big or how small the traffic infraction, don’t ever just pay that ticket and never go into court without a lawyer to fight on your behalf!
