How time flies! "Spread Love and Kindness"
Wow!! About a week from now 6 years ago, just an amazing story, such a great memory. Some things have changed over the past years, but one thing has not changed much at all. Orlando Senior Health Network own Duane Zoller (such and amazing man) still spends his morings in our woodshop, and is still at it making toys and gifts for those less fortunate. Duane has lived at the Orlando Lutheran Towers for the past 13 years and still loves and enjoys what he does for others in our wood-shop.
Martha Sugalski with WFTV Channel 9 did a wonderful segment called "Spread Love and Kindness" news special on December 16th 2017 showcasing all the good that goes on in our community.
Well Duane is still at it, and still enjoying what he does in our woodshop, just a reminder of the amazing people, the un-solicited kindness, serve as a reminder of the amazing place we call home.

102 YEARS YOUNG
Happiest of Birthdays to these two lovely ladies whom are 102 years young. What an amazing morning it was at Orlando Senior Health Network Orlando Lutheran Towers. Our own Ruth Balfe and Midge Bowman both celebrated in an amazing way. Midge who hosts a weekly "Sip and Sing", personally I like to call it "Mimosas with Midge" had the whole house hopping. What a suprise it was to have Micheal Andrew from Swingerhead amongst other talented bands https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Andrew_(singer) Heather Thorn with Trinity Preparatory School of Florida , wow, what a voice, so talented, along with a young man whom has know Midge for so many years from Australia, Adrian Cunningham with Professor Cunningham and his old School Band Professor Cunningham and his Old Schooland other entertainers, this Sip and Sing and birthday celebration was such a heartwarming event. With Greg Zabel on Double Bass, Dave McKenzie on Sax and others whom suprised Midge on this day, it truly could not have worked out to be such a special occasion, unplanned, without all these amazing people celebrating our two special ladies. Wow! just WOW!!!
We were so fortunate to have Martha Sugalski send over her cameraman Matt Milano WFTV Channel 9 who was just so amazing to all of our residents and staff, what a kind soul, who got some amazing video, and did a brief interview with Midge aftewards. Thank you Martha, and thank you Matt for helping us document this amazing occasion for their 102nd birthdays.
