What you should know or ask when hiring your dream bartending team:

✨ Prior weddings and reviews
- This will let you know their planning process and how other clients liked their planning and day of service.

✨ What packages they offer and what is included in each one.
- This is a big one! As far as bartending service there is a lot of product that is needed. Remember bartenders not only give a service for the amount of hours but have to calculate the amount of product per head count / Shop for the product / Prep / & Bring it day of + Set up

✨ Do they hold the required Insurances to serve alcohol.
- Serving alcohol is a very big deal. Bartenders are responsible for using their best judgement to not over serve your guests. It is very important that your bartenders have the required licenses and insurances to cover in any instance.

Let’s talk about why we have a LOVE/hate relationship with cocktail hour 🍸…

I absolutely love the concept of cocktail hour because it gives the newly weds time to take their special pictures while their guests enjoy a cocktail and a bite. It also helps guests mingle and see/talk to friends and family they have not seen for a while.

We definitely do not hate it hahaha but a couple of things to take in to consideration when planning it.
If you are having cocktail hour in a different location than reception (which is common) remember to give time for bartenders to close & move inside.

My recommendation is to cut down on menu items for cocktail hour and have a bigger bar menu for reception. For example: Cocktail hour menu Beer & Wine or His & Her drink & for Reception Full Bar 🍻🥂🍺🥃🍸🍹.
