The Boarding School
I’ve been lucky to work alongside a bunch of incredible people in my life time. People that I love to my core. People that play a huge part in my success and more importantly happiness. As much fun as this place can be it can often become an overwhelming thing to manage. And in those moments you better have a real one by your side. Well, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt more confident in the person by my side than . Despite being 30+ years younger than me he quickly became one of my best friends and someone I would trust my life with. This kid will work side by side with me all day or jump in and take the lead on days that get heavy. The best part of it, he does it with a smile on his face and an energy that’s infectious. For that, I can not thank him enough. So thankful we crossed paths. I love you kid!
Further proof you’re in the wrong spot…
You’re in the wrong spot! The next few months are the absolute best time of year in Orlando. Finish your fall with a bang.
I’ve always known this place is magical. I vividly remember the first time I drove the boat down Lake 2. I knew there was nowhere I’d rather be. 13 years later, I’m more certain than ever that this is the right spot, and this incredible pic from just serves at further confirmation!
We’ve shot the catalog here for a long time now, but for some reason only thought to do Ronix here the last two years. Well, it was worth the wait I guess! 2024 gear drops today. Go check it out.
Just sat down on the plane to fly back to Orlando. Every time I leave Radar, I leave with a clear head and a full heart. It’s truly unbelievable that riding a waterski has put me here…an absolutely beautiful location with my best friends doing what we love. So thankful for Brooks Wilson and the entire Radar/Ronix crew. A tight little family all focused on having fun on the water and sharing some real moments over the weekend. I can’t wait to get home to see my girls and my little dog, but I am already looking forward to this happening again next year. Thanks Herb.
The new V***r is out! I’ve had the absolute pleasure of riding one since last November and I can say without question it is THE BEST ski I have ever ridden. When I got it I was pretty fresh off of an injury and having a hard time finding my groove again. This beauty brought a huge smile to my face day 1! I am having the most fun I have ever had skiing, and this ski has a lot to do with it. They crew from Radar knocked it out of the park with this one.
Summer with my crew! Doesn’t get better.

Happy Father’s Day from TBS! Nothing beats time on the water with family. Hope you’re having the best day with the ones you love!
Which color way do y’all like better?
Rick called me last year saying that he recently started skiing again after a 40 year break and wanted to learn how to run the slalom course. He’s been coming most every Friday and skiing with us. Not going to lie, it started pretty rough. He actually called it “Cowboy Skiing”. He thought you were supposed to pull as hard as possible and throw a big spray. We spent some time free skiing and getting him settled down, then started working our way through the course. Well today with 3 months of Fridays, Rick ran the course for the first time at 67 years old. This is what keeps me motivated! Incredible people, doing incredible things. Here’s to a bunch more Fridays. We’re just getting started.
Happy New Year’s from The Boarding School! This year marks 20 years for us. A lot of changes a long the way, but they’ve lead us to the greatest spot on the planet. We hope we get to see you this year!
Every year we have the pleasure of testing the V***rs during the design process, then shooting the finished product in the spring. But it’s not until August that we actually get to put them in our hands. Always a fun day!
I left my house at 5am today to go pick up my boat from Action Watersports. Headed back to the camp, pulled 20 sets, then drove Steel’s boat back to him and walked back in my house at 7:15 tonight. Needless to say it was a long day, but I am incredibly thankful that this is what I was looking at all day. This view will never get old.

Last Saturday we had the privilege of hosting Let Her Rip at TBS. We had 20 amazing girls and women come from all over the country to spend the day us. I honestly couldn’t have imagined a more fun day, and as a cherry on top my little girl got to join in on all the fun. A huge thanks to and for dreaming this up and letting us take part. We can’t wait for the next one!
Julia getting through the course for the first time! Pretty big moment in any slalom skier’s and coach’s life. One of my favorite things!

My man Kerrick slayshes really hard. Usually so hard that he’ll fall once a set doing it. It’s honestly one of my favorite things. If you wakeboard and don’t slaysh, you need to rethink your life. Some of the coolest things you can do on a wakeboard are actually on the water, not in the air. Get out there and hone your craft.

From my start in the sport, women have been my guide. Linda Giddens was my first coach. She was the best jumper in the world, and set me on a path to success. From the time I was 10 until I graduated High School, my Mom would tow the boat to the lake, and pull me all afternoon. Now I have two girls of my own and numerous female students that I have the pleasure of working with. Plain and simple, women kick ass. And I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
