Shout out to the upperclassmen showing out at Sunday Funday. 🎓📚 Our private school vs. public school A/B level players got their chance to demonstrate their mastery of the game of roller derby. It felt like a school reunion seeing some familiar faces from outside of ORD. Thank you to everyone to took the time to have a Sunday Funday.

Sunday Funday at its finest! 🎓📚 Our private school vs. public school scrimmage brought out the best in our rookies and C-level players, with everyone showing up for some lighthearted fun and plenty of learning. Thank you to all the skaters who came out to play! Thank you to the A/B level skaters who worked as derby tutors for our Rookie/C-level students. 🫶🏻

The Manatee Mayhem made a splash on the track, taking down the Snowbird Bombers with an epic score of 202 to 103! 🌊 From start to finish, the Manatees brought the chaos and showed what it means to play with true Mayhem spirit. Huge thanks to our amazing fans and sponsors for cheering us on—we couldn’t have done it without you! Who’s ready for the next tidal wave of action?

We have had quite the eventful month of August! Now we finally get to bring everyone up to speed. The Orlando Sol Crushers lit up the track and brought the heat against the Tampa Sea Sirens, taking home a massive win with a score of 193 to 116! 💪 The Sol Crushers left it all out there, showing what it means to play with heart, grit, and a whole lot of sunshine. 🌞 Feeling unstoppable and ready for the next challenge! No sea can drown our fire!

Today we remember the 49 lives tragically taken at the Pulse nightclub 8 years ago on June 12, 2016. We honor the survivors and countless others whose lives were deeply impacted by this act of injustice and hatred. As a part of the Orlando community, we strive to honor their legacy by creating a place where people feel welcomed and celebrated in their identities.

Join Orlando Roller Derby! Fast Track Recruitment kicks off with an info session on July 21 at 12:00 p.m. at Barnett Park Gym. First practice starts September 1 at 12:00 p.m.

Fast Track Recruitment is for experienced skaters only: roller derby, roller hockey, park skating, speed skating, ice skating, etc. To qualify, skaters must be able to skate forwards, backward, stop, and crossover. We'll teach you the rest!
