End of year luncheon-we work hard so we can celebrate our successes! It’s been a great year at McCoy. Now we take a few months to refuel, reflect, and retool ourselves. ✌️❤️✈️

180 days ago we started the school year knowing that this day would come. The day we would send our 5th graders on to middle school. While it is our favorite day because we celebrate their accomplishments, saying goodbye is always bittersweet. We wish these Jets the best of luck! 🫶😍🥰✈️

Today we celebrated four amazing ladies that have made McCoy what it is today. They have nurtured our students, created loving environments, imparted wisdom, taught untold lessons for and about life, and made us better for knowing them. They have made an indelible mark on our lives and the lives of countless students. Ms. Berrios, Ms. Leyton, Ms. Sellers, and Ms. Shuman-we wish you all the happiness in the world as you begin new adventures. Remember, once a Jet, always a Jet! Happy Retirement! 🫶🥰😍

This morning we paid tribute to our 2024 Senior Jets. They walked the halls to a celebration like none other, kids cheering, signs waiving, and teary eyed teachers overwhelmed with pride! Great job Jets-you make us so proud 🥰🙌✈️🎓🫶

The 2024 Summer Olympics are being held in Paris, but the 2024 Spring Olympics were held right here at McCoy! Our 3rd graders participated in Math Olympics, 4 days and 8 Math Events. The gold medal olympiads…Ms. Sellers Class! Good job 3rd grade 🧠🙌🤩✈️

This morning we will greet our graduating Jets for the first time in six years! We are so excited about senior walk! All 2024 senior Jets are welcome, 9:30-bring your OCPS or state id. 🎓✈️🙌

And that’s a wrap! Our 5th grade patrols turned in their belts and badges and enjoyed an ice cream party today. It’s been a wonderful year with these kiddos. Our new patrols have some big shoes to fill ✈️🙌🥰🤩
