Elemental Treatment

From the perspective of the Chinese 5 Elements, the body is not seperate from nature. The components of the natural world, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire Elements are alive in each of us. Each Element is a doorway to not only organ system health, but also emotional and spiritual well being.

This massage integrates a variety of Eastern massage techniques, including Shiatsu, Accupressure and Chinese massage to regulate the Chi through the meridian system. The practitioner will help client based on intake, choose which elements to focus on.

New Treatments

I wanted to share with you the latest program I'm enrolled in. Integrating Chinese Medicine into Massage Therapy. I'm three weeks into the program and I've already learned so many amazing tools. Acupressure is an ancient form of massage that is one of the treatment methods used in traditional Chinese Medicine. The goal of acupressure (as well as other Chinese Medicine treatments) is to encourage the movement of qi ("life energy") through the 14 channels (meridians) inside the body. These are the same energy meridians and acupoints as those targeted with acupuncture. So essentially, I'm learning what acupuncturist do without the needles. Here are a few treatments I've learned so far....
