Mad Cow Theatre is pleased to announce the Central Florida premiere of See Rock City, to be performed on April 8 through 24. Newlyweds May and Raleigh come home in part two of Hutton’s beloved Nibroc Trilogy. As World War II rages at a distance, the young couple navigate a new life under the watchful eyes of their mothers, retreating to the porch to share moments of intimacy and anxiety. This charming and nuanced view of young married life revels in storytelling and learning to face sacrifice in the name of enduring love. Meet the artist! Darryl Reuben Hall is the actor/playwright/director who created Dinner with Booker T. He is an alum of Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, a Eugene O’Neill Theater Fellow, Creative Capital, and a panelist for the New York State Council of the Arts and FL Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs. His performance credits include Broadway, Carnegie Hall, and national tours, as well as multiple screen appearances. Mr. Hall has won many awards for his performances, and he has been named a Jacksonville Black History Month Calendar Honoree and one of Florida Star News’ People to Watch. He is also a two-time recipient of an Individual Fellowship from the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association, Screen Actor’s Guild, American Guild of Variety Artists, and American Guild of Musical Artists. He is also the founder and Executive Director of Stage Aurora Theatrical Company, where he has directed and choreographed over 100 productions.

Join the Cultural Arts Foundation this October 29th - 31st for a "Bewitching Ballet", directed by Ryan Frazier. This is ballet meets the Master of Suspense, featuring six classic Alfred Hitchcock's most iconic films: Rear Window, Vertigo, The Birds, Psycho, North By Northwest, and To Catch A Thief. Enjoy breathtaking authentic recreations of fashions worn by Grace Kelly, Tippi Hedren, Kim Novak, and more. There is also a Special VIP Champagne Gala on Saturday, Oct. 30th at 6:30 pm. Meet the playwright of our next production, The Royale! Marco Ramirez is an award-winning American playwright. He has had plays produced at The Globe Theater, Center Theatre Group, The Kennedy Center, The Juilliard School, and Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival of New American Plays, where he’s twice received the Heideman Award. As an Emmy-nominated television writer, he has written for numerous hit shows, including FX’s Sons of Anarchy; AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead; and Netflix's Orange Is the New Black and Daredevil. He trained at both New York University and The Juilliard School.
