Each year, Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association conducts collection drives to support the Homeless Students of Central Florida (Orange, Osceola, and Seminole County). The FLA-CAT team is thrilled to make a charitable donation to this amazing organization held at the Caribe Royale Orlando this morning.

Meet David Vasquez!

Dave was born in the Bronx but spent his childhood growing up in the Dominican Republic. Dave eventually came back to the States where he would start his career at FLA-CAT in 2002 working in the contents department. A year later Dave switched departments and started as a water tech where his career and leaderships skills flourished!

Dave currently serves as one of our Mitigation Managers. His commitment and dedication is unmatched, no matter the time (even at 2am) Dave is a dependable employee to FLA-CAT, and most importantly our community when they are in need.

Outside of work Dave is a family man! He loves going to car shows with his son, planning his big yearly summer family vacation, or spending quality time with his Mom.

Thank you for being such a valuable member of our team for the past 20 years! We are truly thankful and lucky to have a person like you! Congratulations, Dave!

Some of our FLA-CAT water techs are having a refresher course this morning on best practices for board ups and tarps!

Thank you I-Drive Chamber Tourism Orlando Leadership Program for a fantastic class last Friday, April 9, 2022! We were treated to a walk through of the new state of the art medical facility being built on the Orlando Health ORMC Campus. Special presentations from Thibaut van Marcke, Senior Vice President and Kenny Tello, Wellness and Resilience.

It was a great opportunity to network with them and discuss how our businesses can help each other.

Lastly, after the event was over, we had the privilege to take a ride on The Wheel at ICON Park and enjoy the incredible views of Orlando at 400 feet!

Meet Krystin Gearhart!

Krystin joined the FLA-CAT family in April 2021 as a Production Coordinator. Krystin assisted with permitting, weekly note updates, closing out jobs, homeowner selections and many other tasks.

Krystin was always hungry for more responsibilities and was eager to one day be a Project Manager! We can proudly say that Krystin currently serves as a Project Manager for FLA-CAT and is doing a fantastic job! Krystin commented that construction runs in her blood, as her father has been a contractor all her life - who she looks up to very much!

In her free time you can find Krystin at the USF Baseball stadium cheering on the Bulls at ALL of their home games! She loves anything outdoors and spoiling her two french bulldogs.

Krystin's positivity and work ethic is infectious! Never stop reaching Krystin - we are lucky to have you part of our team and your future is bright!

Meet Argenis Raga!

Argenis was recently promoted from lead Water Technician to an Estimator/ Mold Manager!

Argenis is originally from Los Teques, Venezuela, and came to the United States in 2013 to play Professional baseball for the Oakland A’s! After a 7-year run with the A’s, Argenis and his wife Beidalis settled in Central Florida.

Coming to FLA-CAT in June 2020 with no experience, Argenis thrived in the Restoration business. His attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills quickly made him a standout employee.

In his free time Argenis loves to hangout with his family and friends, spend time with his American Akita dog “Kimi” and is involved with his local Church every Sunday.

Congratulations Argenis, we are so happy for you, and future here at FLA-CAT!
