What a treat! We got to make our own glass pumpkins 🎃and learn about some fabulous interior design products while sipping wine and snacking on charcuterie. Delish! We spent a beautiful Saturday morning with the Orlando Foundation for Architecture on their Walking Tour of the Atlantic Center for the Arts (ACA). ACA is a non-profit multidisciplinary artist residency facility located on the shores of Turnbull Bay, a tidal estuary west of New Smyrna Beach. In 2022, the ACA received AIA Florida's, “25 year Test of Time” award. The 69 acre property comprises six buildings connected to existing structures by raised wooden walkways, it includes a library and studios for painting, sculpture, dance, music/recording, and theater. The studio complex has 12,000 sq. ft. of artists working space and also provides additional facilities for public programs and partnerships. The vision of founder Doris Leeper lives on today as Atlantic Center continues to nurture the artists of tomorrow who are working today to create what will become our cultural heritage.

Jadranka, our resident butterfly enthusiast, has a bustling butterfly garden at home and she genuinely appreciates little moments like this, when she can share the joy of a butterfly’s transformative journey with her co-workers. “It’s not just about releasing the butterflies”, she says, “it’s about the entire process from humble caterpillar, to a seemingly static chrysalis, and finally culminating into a beautiful butterfly.” It’s truly amazing. Thank you for sharing this natural wonder with us, Jadranka!

Our Interior Design team just got back from the final walk-through for this contemporary craftsman style active adult community Clubhouse in north Georgia. Grand Opening for residents is scheduled for February, but here’s a SNEAK PEEK! More pics to come.
