Spotlight on our 2023 30 Under 30 award recipient, Shinjan Ghosh '21 Ph.D. ✨

Shinjan began his education in India where he received a scholarship for bright students with poor economic backgrounds. He received an ORC-CATER fellowship to continue his education at UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science. After graduation and through his work as a computational and applied math scientist at Siemens, Shinjan is still involved with UCF research faculty and professors, he works on university-corporate relationships and co-funded research. He is involved in mentoring prospective students, as well as helping poverty-stricken students in India through the Global Ju Alumni Foundation. He hopes to serve as an inspiration for all students who go through life’s struggles to reach their full potential.

Thank you, Shinjan for all you do for UCF and your local community! We are so proud to call you a 30 under 30 recipient. ⚡️🔛
