PCC is excited to participate in the festivities of the Olympics 2024 from July 23-Aug 11 by highlighting the importance of athletes and their mental health. As all eyes are on Paris in the coming days, PCC wants to talk more about the bravery and determination it takes to be a competitive athlete in today's world of stressors and social media. PCC is so excited to celebrate with Sydni Smith as she recently graduated from Daytona State College with her Associate of Arts and is now pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology with a bridge to a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Central Florida. It has been an honor to watch Sydni grow as she has worked with our admin team since 2020 while pursuing her educational goals. Our hope is that Sydni will keep working with PCC when she is ready to launch her career in the field as a counselor :) If this wasn't enough to brag about, in addition to being so driven and succeeding on her path, she has been invited to join Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Congratulations to PCC's therapist, Angelina Vickers, and her husband, Johnny, as they celebrate all the amazing accomplishments of their three girls, Amynah, Amira, and Christina, this school year.
Amynah has shown the world her incredible skills on the court this year and was chosen "Offensive Player of the Year" for Atlantic High School's JV Girl's Basketball Team. Amynah also recently had a solo at Atlantic's end-of-year spring concert where she received the superlative for "Most Likely to Burst into Song."
Amira and Christina (5th and 4th grade) are also showing the world their star power, both earning Ambassador status at their school, Reign Academy School of Entrepreneurship, which is the top spot for both character/excellence and grades!
