The Orting Yard

Welp. This was not on my bingo card.

We are closed until further notice because the lack of me providing private parking spaces including a handicapped space and the entry way not having a 2% slope is unsafe. Stay tuned to hear the news good or bad as we try to see if it’s even possible to move forward from this.

Unfortunately we need to close today and possibly the remainder of the weekend. I’ll update everyone once I know more but hoping to be back open asap!

Unfortunately this event may need to be postponed. I’m hoping to know more tomorrow on if we are 100% having to cancel but keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Next Friday, July 26th, come down to see BenJammin from 6:00pm-8:00pm! Orting Farmers Market will be going on across the parking lot, go grab a bite to eat and bring it over! We hope to see you there! 130 Corrin Ave NW - opposite end of the parking lot at Big J's!

Swing by Saturday for a Rock Fest Special! Come down wearing this years or years past Rock Fest Gear and get buy one get one half off of our drink specials! Come check out our outdoor area, misters will be misting, and drinks will be cold!

We are adjusting hours to handle the heat better! We have a small AC who is doing the mighty job of trying to cool this big open space. One day we will have a nice big AC pumping in the main indoor area. But today isn’t that day 🤪 Evenings at the Yard are much more manageable - swing in and have a nice evening of co****le in the shade out back!

Some of our most favorite vendors will be just down the block from us serving up the goods on the 4th! Give them some love and grab a bite! Remember you can always bring your food into our establishment and enjoy a cold beer while you eat!

Sunday Funday we have some new board games we will be whipping out! Can’t wait to see ya there!

Some updated hours for May! The sun stays out longer, why shouldn’t we?! These are not hard closing times, meaning - if we have people here enjoying themselves, we will NOT ask you to leave! We are happy and thankful to have the customers and will gladly stay open for them. We just won’t close before these set times!

Unfortunately, we have to cancel our food truck Fridays. With the new food truck ordinance within the city, we are not allowed to have food trucks parked within 300ft of the city hosted events and Friday Farmers Markets are included within the list of events. While that part isn’t neat for us, we do like the new ordinance as it’s WAY more food truck friendly than it was before! We are for small businesses so a win for them is a win for us!

But we will adjust and make this summer amazing anyway! For now, we will shift food trucks from Fridays to Saturdays and will do our best to add onto and partner with other events to collaborate with the vendors at the Farmers Markets and encourage them to grab a bite there and walk over to The Yard!
