Breakaway Boat Rentals had an awesome day hosting Alyssa Kelsey and her bridal party for one rocking bachelorette bash! They started in Party Cove chillin on the lily, then moved on to Dog Days Bar & Grill and Backwater Jacks. It was an amazing party and great day to be on the lake!

Breakaway Boat Rentals teamed up with Shiny Rock Boats to host an awesome bachelorette party for Melissa and her bridal party. These girls made all the great stops, beginning with LandShark Bar & Grill. Following a short time there, they moved on to Redhead Lakeside Grill, High Tide, Party Cove, then capped the evening off at Dog Days Bar & Grill. What an amazing day!

Breakaway Boat Rentals enjoyed some rest and relaxation yesterday with one pitstop to the Boathouse Lakeside Bar & Grill. We pulled in to see an old childhood friend, Steven Scott, perform some catchy cover tunes. Even got the opportunity to see Lisa Lyn Pearce as well. Awesome action for sure!

Steven can imitate some of the best singers in music. Whether it’s rock, country, pop, and contemporary, you have it all in one evening. Breakaway Boat Rentals had an awesome surprise on yesterday's charter. Cortney Wells and I served together in the service. She enlisted in the USMC in 2015, and while at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina, I was her Battalion Chaplain. Jennifer and I say it all the time... such a small world!

Cortney spent her tenure in the Marines as an 0511, which is a MAGTF Planning Specialist; therefore, no shock that she mapped out this combined bachelor and bachelorette party for her brother, Logan, and his soon to be wife, Abby. They had one heck of a time tubing and chillin on the lily. Ma'am, it was a great honor to see you once again, and please know how much this blessed me!

Breakaway Boat Rentals had the awesome opportunity and privilege to host Max Gow and his family for an 8hr boat rental while visiting the Lake of the Ozarks. The thing that makes this so very special to us is that Max is a retired Soldier that spent 34yrs in the United States Army.

Max is a Vietnam War Veteran that was drafted as an E1, then climbed his way through the ranks to an O5 Battalion Commander. Wow! If you don't know this already, we love having servicemen and servicewomen on our boats!

Breakaway Boat Rentals was caught off guard by a surprise visitor from St. Charles, Missouri. It's been 33yrs since we've seen our good friends from High School, Nikki and Pam Lane. Both decided that it was time for a combined family vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks and they made it happen. All enjoyed their time on the water visiting various restaurants and bars, but the best part was slinging those kiddos around on the tube!

Breakaway Boat Rentals was awesomely surprised this weekend to have some good U.S. Navy friends visit the Lake of the Ozarks. Dustin Brzezniak and I served together from 2016-2020 at Destroyer Squadron 23 in San Diego, California. Dustin remains on active duty, but his retirement is on the horizon.

We had much fun hanging at Dog Days Bar & Grill and High Tide during the day, then it was off to the races with Machine Gun Symphony at The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar. Jennifer and I are very blessed to have great military friends all over the nation and world. God is good!

Dustin & Amy, thank you for the amazing weekend and terrific memories that you left with us. We had the best two days hanging with you and we absolutely needed it. Safe travels on your return trip home and rest assured that we'll be doing this again soon!
