Thank you to all who have helped us flip the mats! Removing tape as I’ve learned is the hardest part!

Agility Run Through at OKC this Friday, 6/7.
Registration at 6pm, 1st dog on the line at 6:30 pm. $5 for 1st run and $3 for 2nd run with same dog.

This will be the last run through at OKC until November.

Agility instructors please share with your students!

Our regular group of super volunteers have another engagement and we are going to be very short of help. If you're willing to volunteer, please let Eva Kaplan know!

Congrats to our recent class graduates! Three classes graduated recently. Two Rally classes are combined in one picture. Special thanks to Puppy trainer, Karen, for her clever gifts to the puppies. A few new classes will begin in July. The Club will be very active with Obedience, Agility and Rally trials and FastCAT events throughout the summer.

AKC updated the fetch rules again.
May 20, 2024 is the new version.
I heard you are no longer able to reward your dog after they return the fetch item. You can only reward after you leave the ring or test area.
Too many people were dropping treats during outside tests and messing up the dogs that tested after them…

• Zoomie times- See Dog not working in the Guide. The times have been changed to 30 seconds for Novice, 20 seconds for Intermediate, and 15 seconds for Advanced and Retriever.

Hello friends!

We have listened to concerns and are working to address our mats getting more slippery! We are going to be flipping over our mats (per the okay of the company) so that we will get to run on unused matting surface!

We will be having a mat flipping party on June 22, and the 23rd if needed. To do this, we need some help, as those mats are big and HEAVY! If you're a member, please come help if you can, we need numbers! You'll get kennel points and lunch! If you're not a member and would still want to help, we'd love to have you and will feed you a home cooked lunch!

PLANNING TO ENTER THE OKC RALLY TRIAL IN MAY? The Oshkosh Kennel Club will offer Rally Run-thrus on Saturday April 13, 2024 from 10am to 1pm. Cost is $10 per dog. What a great time to acclimate you and your dog to OKC!

Three rings will be set up. Ring 1 will offer nested Novice/Intermediate courses. Ring 2 will offer nested Advanced/Excellent courses. Ring 3 will offer a Master course. Come anytime between 10 and 1pm with your dog. We hope to have many teams to create a show environment. We will have volunteers available to help with questions and to act in an unofficial “judge” capacity if desired. Please join us!

Tuesday Obedience and Rally Classes are CANCELLED due to weather. We will see you all next Tuesday
