Subject: Robbery
(Oshkosh, WI) On August 15, 2024, at 6:25 AM, officers from the Oshkosh Police Department responded to a robbery at a business in the 1300 block of Oshkosh Ave. Upon arrival, officers found an employee who had been stabbed. The employee was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, a 23-year-old male from Oshkosh, was still on the scene and taken into custody. He was later booked into the Winnebago County Jail on charges of Armed Robbery, 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, and Bail Jumping.
The incident is still under investigation, and detectives are continuing to follow up.

The Oshkosh Police Department would like to thank the public for providing a tip that led to the arrest of Sybastian CL Crossman. Sybastian was taken into custody without incident at approximately 3:38 am at a local residence where he was reported to be hiding out. The Oshkosh Police Department would also like to thank the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in the apprehension.

The Oshkosh Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating, 23 year old, Sybastian CL Crossman of Oshkosh, as he is a person of interest in the homicide that occurred in the City of Oshkosh on 8/10/2024. If you know of his whereabouts you are asked to call the Oshkosh Police Department immediately at 920-236-5700 or dial 911 if appropriate. OSHKOSH, WI (August 10, 2024): The Oshkosh Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred outside of a business located in the 500 Block of High Ave in the City of Oshkosh.
On 08/10/2024 at approximately 2:31 AM, Officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were dispatched to a weapons call in the 500 Block of High Avenue. They received information that there was a disturbance and that male had been stabbed.
Upon further investigation, Officers discovered that there was a physical altercation that took place between several individuals that are known to each other and that a 20 year old male from Oshkosh had been stabbed. He was transported to a local hospital for life threatening injuries and was ultimately pronounced deceased at the hospital.
A 22 year old male (from Oshkosh), who was involved in this disturbance was located and taken into custody within an hour after the incident occurred. Officers are actively investigating another person of interest in this case.

Subject: Drug Investigation
OSHKOSH, WI (August 12, 2024): The Oshkosh Police Department assisted the Lake Winnebago Area MEG Unit by conducting several search warrants in the City of Oshkosh.
Based upon a drug investigation conducted by the Lake Winnebago Area MEG Unit, search warrants were issued for residences located in the 900 Block of Wright Street, the 500 Block of Scott Avenue, and the 300 Block of Dove Street in the City of Oshkosh.
The search warrants were served by the Oshkosh Police Department’s SWAT Team, Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and the State of Wisconsin Joint Tactical Team. As a result of this search warrant, four individuals from Oshkosh were taken into custody.
They were arrested for various felony charges related to possession and distribution of illegal controlled substances. One male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and another male was taken into custody for violating his Probation rules. This investigation is still ongoing.
The Oshkosh Police Department and law enforcement agencies in the Fox Valley continue to work diligently to investigate crimes of this nature. The presence of illegal drugs and drug dealers poses a threat to the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. We will not tolerate the distribution, sale, or possession of illegal narcotics within our city. We will continue to work tirelessly, utilizing all available resources to identify and apprehend those individuals who engage in these destructive behaviors. We stand united with our community in the fight against drugs, ensuring Oshkosh remains a safe place for all.
