Through July 21, plastics can be dropped off at Fitchburg City Hall, Community Center, or the Fitchburg Pick 'n Save. If we collect 1,000 pounds, Trex Company will reward the Lions Club with a bench made from recycled materials!

Bring your hard-to-recycle plastics that can’t go in curbside recycling bins, including:

-Ziploc bags
-The wrap around water bottles or paper towels
-Grocery store bags
-Bubble wrap

Programs like the Fitchburg Lions Club’s NexTrex Recycling Challenge help raise shopper awareness and keep more materials out of landfills. If you’re shopping at any you can participate in plastic recycling. In fact, last year across , our teams recycled a whopping 2.8 million pounds of plastic!
