As we wrap up Earth Month, join me in celebrating the inspiring and delicious work of Laurie Gershgorn of Good Choice Kitchen in Ossining! April inspires us to pay special attention to people who are making deliberate choices at every step to reduce the environmental impact of their actions. From the locally-sourced vegan seasonal menu, to the compostable containers and ecologically-friendly shipping practices, Good Choice Kitchen is one of the greenest businesses in Ossining.

Laurie is fulfilling her mission to “serve people good, clean, well prepared foods” as she fosters, “community interactive location where we could serve people of all socio-economic levels and expose more people to more healthy whole foods that are all organic and sustainable products and sustainably grown." Laurie works with local organizations and fellow business owners to support her community, “I feel strongly about being part of the new face of Ossining.”

So this AMAZING guy Brian has been with us working really hard for 2 years (longer off and on). Here he is making an excellent batch of our falafel (always baked never fried!) He will not be here as often as we moved him into Manhattan this weekend. THANK YOU BRIAN for being dependable, awesome in the kitchen and with guests, just doing-it-all! Love you ❤️

Went to on Sunday and picked up (and enjoyed) their delicious hard 🍎 to bring to - WILD AT HEART, made with wild fermented heirloom apples & whole cluster wild foraged sumac; semi-dry well balanced & slightly sweet. COUNTERPANE adds sweet & tart🍒cherries to heirloom apples for a dry rosé. Both 7%ABV. We also have local white wine, kombucha, & crowlers!
