I spent mine doing my "Illinois-centric" edition of my "Wild Bill!" one-man show to celebrate Hickok's birthday near his hometown - and mine - Mendota, IL - and had a blast doing it!

DID YOU KNOW...
that in Western films, meeting in the street to duel was because that's what Wild Bill Hickok did in his famous "showdown" with Davis Tutt?
That "shooting from the hip" entered our lexicon because that's how Hickok shot, never aiming down the barrel?
Likewise, "sitting with your back to the wall," which is what Hickok did - until he didn't!?

I've been painting seriously for just over three years or so, trying with every piece to learn and master new (to me) techniques, employ new approaches and - get better!
